I’ve really been enjoying listening to the podcast. It’s definitely time to review! A few month ago I broke my hand and had to work overnight at my warehouse for almost 2 months to heal. My music playlists were getting dull, shifts felt longer and longer, and I was getting bored. For the first time, as I still really don’t listen to podcasts, I randomly decided to look up a podcast about elder scrolls lore specifically because I had just purchased the anniversary Skyrim upgrade. Man was I pulled in. I really enjoy the casual yet very well put together podcast. All the guests and sense of community. I’ve played a good number of the games and I started reading the two novels by Greg Keyes while I was also listening to the show. It’s helped me enjoy elder scrolls content in a new way and I’m still only halfway through the episodes. Keep up the good work and I hope you get to continue doing what you love!

It’s been a couple months since I started listening and I have to say deep dives into fantasy and video game lore are what I live for, and you guys do a great job of making it engaging and entertaining. Also I’ve been waiting 266 episodes for this. The Hero of Kvatch broke Jygalaag’s daedric curse, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. ES 6 plot teaming up with the other princes to stop a greymarch on all the realms of oblivion and Mundas.

Love hearing you guys talk about elder scrolls. Comfy vibes. Always a nice break from reality.

I drive over an hour to and from work everyday. In addition, I go on a lot of road trips. Tom and Lotus keep me entertained with their knowledge and comedic timing. They are also both very active in the discord. This show has med to many other great programs on the Robots Radio network. Highly recommended. 10/10.

I just finished listening to every episode of the Fallout Lorecast, and now I’ve been enjoying the ES Lorecast! It’s even prompted me to replay Oblivion! Robots and Lotus do such a great job with the show, from the deep dark bits of the lore, to the weird and wacky, to making me literally laugh out loud at work, this is the perfect podcast for any Elder Scrolls fan! Listen to this while at work, helps me get through my long nights. This podcast made me want to explore the elder scroll series more than I have before.

Been listening for a few weeks. Have gone back and listened to some older stuff to get caught up. From being late into the whole universe of the Elder Scrolls, I find listening to your podcast very helpful with story and lore as I am not fully aware of everything; BUT am very interested in learning more as Skyrim has hooked me into this series! I hope you guys see this review and understand that you do a great job at exploring the world of The Elder Scrolls and helping those like myself still feel engaged when we are late bloomers! Keep up the great work!

I love this podcast! It’s one of the few I listen to consistently without fail. It keeps me company through the work day with interesting and amazing delves into the lore. Great for listening on the go. I play it everywhere from in the car to 80ft up in an oak tree. Keep it up guys! I look forward to hearing more!

It’s just such a good podcast to listen to! whether your at work, curious about the lore, or even just want some inspiration to create a new character. Not only is the podcast itself just great, the community is probably (in my experience) one of the most friendly out there, I’ve had so many times where I ask a simple question and end up getting a full fledged informational conversation and debate that feels like it could be a podcast on its own! Not to mention that the host himself (Tom) is completely active in the community and will often add to these debates. It’s a great ES resource and I would COMPLETELY recommend listening. PS, completely deserves being in the top 1% of podcasts

I love this podcast. Been into the elder scrolls since Morrowind and the lore has always gripped me and your podcast covers everything that I want to know about the amazing world. Everyone associated with the Robots Radio group make the best podcast that make my days at work go by quickly.

The fervor and passion these folks talk about the ES universe with is just fantastic. The depth of knowledge that they have is so refreshing for anyone who loves this series but can’t make heads or tails of the impossibly dense source material. I’ve played since the days of Morrowind and these folks still surprise me with something new each episode. As a social studies teacher, I find their incorporation of history, geography, culture, and even economics incredibly satisfying. If you enjoy the ES series, you need to give this channel a listen. Truly wonderful. P.S. If you like D&D, or even DM, this channel is great to listen to for making your own campaign settings or better understanding preexisting ones.

I’m strictly a Spotify listener but I reopened Apple Podcasts just so I could write a review! I listen intensely while I’m at work. I’m an Elder Scrolls fanatic through and through. Both Tom and Lotus help me dive deeper into the lore of Nirn. Which, vicariously, helps me construct the fantasy world I’ve been working on for over a decade. Which, then translates into a D&D campaign. They even got me into playing ESO just to experience the stories that it has to offer. All in all. The the depth and detail that these guys bring into such a well produced show is enough to keep me as a VERY longtime listener. 9/9 Devines! That’s right! I said it!

This lorecast alone is what gets me through the work day. Both robots and lotus bring intelligent and insightful information to each episode. The patron chats never fail to give me a chuckle and offer many other perspectives on topics from the elder scrolls. ( always waiting for the next “hot take” from Falcon )

Since FudgeMuppet podcast is over, I was looking for something else and this podcast is great it covers things from all the games including eso without being negative towards the game like FudgeMuppet are. Good stuff.

I stopped playing after a while due to being burned out, but the way Lotus and Tom dive so deep into the lore made me want to get back in just so I could find and read all of the lore books in Skyrim and then learn it all myself. Thank you guys for bringing the love for the Elder Scrolls back to its height for me. I truly can’t thank you guys enough.

I stumbled across this show when on a podcast binge and was curious what shows might be attached to my favorite games. This podcast hits every urge you have to learn more about the incredible universe of Elder Scrolls. It’s fun, casual, and well-produced, and is hands-down my favorite show. As someone who started with Oblivion, and has since become a modding fiend roleplaying a relic hunter in Skyrim, listening to lore makes my characters feel more real when I stumble across references in the game. It really adds to the replay-ability of these already incredible games. Thank you so much for all the time and effort put into this podcast. Cheese for everyone!

I’ve been listening for about a month now. It’s one of the best Elder Scrolls podcasts that I’ve listened to. I don’t yet have Skyrim, I’m gonna get the AE version during Christmas. I’ve been using this and the lore that they talk about to get a better understanding of the world and make awesom Character builds, The one that I’m gonna use is a Imperial Witcher build! This is the most well put together and engaging podcast out there, and to top it off it’s full of so much lore and digestible information about TES. This is my go-to, and it’s the only one I can watch over and over without getting tired of it! Keep up the great work and thank you!

I’ve recently been on a big time video game and lorecast kick at work, both out of personal interest and because my boyfriend is super into gaming. ESO is one of my favorite games I’ve tried with him, so I decided to give this show a listen, and was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the vastness of the lore and gameplay information. Kudos to both hosts, and keep up the good work!

Every Monday I go into work and check this podcast to see about any new uploads, rarely am I ever disappointed :) Always am enjoying every episode of lore, also love listening to the game shows too. I was 13 when Skyrim came out and spent many nights staying up way later than I was supposed to playing it on my Xbox 360. I found this podcast just randomly looking to see if there was any Elder Scrolls content on apple podcasts. These guys take it to a whole different level when it comes to lore, and have even helped me figure things out that I never learned in my first 10 years of playing the game. This encouraged me to pull the game back out for another playthrough. I pull the ultimate nerd-out and listen to it while I play the game, which makes it even more fun. Awesome podcast, thanks guys.

Loving this podcast recently started from the beginning, and I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole went when to comes to these games. I started with Morrowind on xbox back in the day and have recently given Skyrim a go. These guys are interesting and engaging and topic leaves you wanting to know more and dig deeper. Highly Recommend!

Listening to your fallout lore series has left me greatly enjoying your content and my love of the Elder Scrolls had me very excited to listen to this. Only now that I have taken to listening do I discover that you have placed 90 of the episodes and those pertaining yo the foundation of the very world behind a paywall. I know it won’t amount to much of anything but I shall avoid this as it is cruel to require people pay additional fees for the base world building.

Absolutely fantastic. Wasn’t interested in podcasts at all until last summer when I heard about this podcast through idle chatting while I was thru-hiking the AT. Thought “why not just check it out” and instantly got hooked. Now I listen to this and all the other elder scrolls podcasts all day long while I’m working. I love listening to all the lore and how deep in detail it gets. Phenomenal, keep up the great work.

I began playing Daggerfall with my parents when I was 11 years old and it is amazing to hear other people who have the same love for Elder Scrolls that I do. My dad is now 72 years old and we still bond over these games. I look forward to the weekly episodes with Tom and Lotus, digging into the lore and getting me through my commute. Give this a listen if you are an Edler Scrolls fan!

I’ve been playing Elder Scrolls since Oblivion and immediately fell in love with the world. I consider myself a lore buff but Robots and Lotus have poured into every obscure detail and found many things I’ve missed. Their presentation of the lore is entertaining, engaging, and easy to understand. Highly recommend for any fan of the franchise! I had an interaction with Lotus on Tales of Tribute, and even though he beat me somewhat badly, he was cordial and friendly and we had a great discussion afterwards! I have not yet had the chance to encounter Robots one on one but I’m sure he’d be just as inviting! 11/5 would recommend the Elder Scrolls Lorecast!

Boom! Straight from Oblivion comes Tom, or Robots, a voice from the nether talking to us about the secrets and the knowledge behind The Elder Scrolls (kind of suspicious I think he might be Herma Mora in disguise look out Lotus) great show, great detailing, and an amazing crew. I’m a long time listener, and I love the community efforts, and love being able to just chillax and listen while doing work stuff. 14/10 stars, Robots and Lotus you guys do amazing work, and would definitely recommend anyone who has just a bit of time on their hands and is in need of something to listen to, or someone who’s interested in the games but doesn’t want to read every single book about it, this is a fantastic podcast with a fantastic crew of people on it. Great job Robots and keep up the work of slowly becoming Hermaeus Mora by absorbing all the knowledge of the Elder Scrolls universe. (Again I’m warning you Lotus keep on your toes)

This podcast deserves to be shouted off the throat of the world for all to hear! The host make the long and rather confusing Elder Scrolls lore easy to understand. As a long time fan myself I always end up finding something new when listening to this show. So if you’re traveling the plains of Oblivion, traveling one of the many paths, or just drinking some skooma give this podcast a listen to.

I’m new to gaming - just started within the last year and very quickly fell in love with open world RPGs, especially Elder Scrolls. I found this podcast shortly after and have been hooked ever since. Listening to R0b0ts and Co. every week satiates my need for more lore and has helped so much with my gameplay and understanding of the universe. The biggest thanks to Tom, Lotus and the whole Elder Scrolls community - you’re all amazing.

I honestly don't know how Tom can keep churning out such high quality lore content with the 400 other shows (ok so that's a bit of a hyperbole, but it's not a small number) he runs. Him and Lotus have to be one of the best host/co-host pairings in a pod cast ever. I'm never not having the best time when I'm listening to these guys. Bonus points for hosting the monthly Patreon chats. Seriously though, Tom you have to be one of the hardest working podcast hosts and I totally respect and admire that kind of dedication to the consumer. Great work 11/10 USDA PRIME Grade A Extra Fancy
