TW: SA On December 18, 1994, twenty-seven-year-old Alison Botha was abducted from the parking lot of her apartment in Port Elizabeth by two men she didn’t know and had never seen. After driving her to a remote field, the two men sexually assaulted her and stabbed her repeatedly before leaving her for dead. But Alison got her self up and to a road, eventually making it to the hospital and surviving.

On the evening of August 10, 2004, Yolanda Bindics worked the closing shift at the Family Dollar in Jamestown, New York. After closing the store, Yolanda spoke to her brother on the phone, and said she’d stop by his place within an hour. But she never showed up, and no one saw Yolanda alive again. Just over two years later, Yolanda’s skeletal remains were found in a wooded area around 16 miles from Jamestown. It was determined that she had been murdered.
