Thank you Mr.John
Mr.John taught me a lot of ways to stop conflict happening in front of me and made me look at stuff in a way I’ve never thought of looking in that perspective. The program was very inspiring and will help me be a better person. -The Asian Kid with Long hair

John brought his wonderful ideas about the whole child home eloquently with his textured examples: He infinitely deepened for me the usually standard question, “How are the children?” Indeed. The point about children coming from different social and emotional backgrounds, and meeting them where they are, is key—made vivid by his urging an “authentic greeting” for them every day. Also, the idea of “trust” seems immensely important. And the nugget he was asked to volunteer, “take risks for kids,” is great.

Great for parents too!
The edspiration podcast has some great info for educators, but it’s also very informative for parents with school-aged children. All the same principles that apply in the classroom can be used at home. It is also great content to pass on to your children's teachers.

Clear, concise, and concrete tools for teachers and educators. I especially appreciate the applicable interventions for the minuscule moments of classroom guidance that can often make a lasting impact. Learned new things never taught
Real, useful info for teachers and education leaders alike. Quality guests and a knowledgable host discuss things I wish they taught in my Teacher Certification classes. I learned several things I can use right away that I didn't know in my 7 years as a teacher. It's like 30 minute boost of mini professional development that's actually useful in an NPR-like quality. Can't wait for more!
