A definitive work
This first volume of a two volume set chronicles the development of economics from the ancient Greeks up to 18th century Europe. The work is extremely thorough and presents a wealth of historical information, but I also feel that it reaches a level of detail approaching minutae.
I would also like to note that the reader, Jeff Riggenbach, is very articulate and has a pleasant voice; however, he reads very slowly. I found that listening at 2X speed did not affect my comprehension.

THANK YOU!!!!
Not only is this one of the finest books ever on economics, but it is a tour-de-force, a page-turner, brilliantly researched----one of my favorite books. Mises.org has provided a truly fine work here. Well-read and well-divided. Thank you!
