Great podcast!
I really enjoy your podcast - always something interesting! I wear my watch all day and night also - only off to charge while I eat dinner. The haptic wake up is a game changer!

Love your podcast
Being an early riser I’ve watched you on KCRA3 and started listening to your podcast this past year. I’ve especially loved the annual summer book lists and have finished several this summer. I’ve enjoyed the variety of topics and guests along with tips and life hacks. Keep up the good work!!

Small Luxuries in our lives episode 200 review
Some people like to do Netflix binging, whereas I do podcast binging, for I don't want to miss any of the great content, wisdom, and fun facts that Deirdre's podcast has to offer through all her amazing guests, as well as her great questions and interesting facts interspersed throughout the conversation. I relish that each podcast can turn us into more empathetic, healthier, and happier human beings. I also love all the ideas that we can implement right away. For instance, episode 200 really stood out as being full of ideas on how to apply self-care on a daily basis. My favorite small luxuries are: making our own Boba tea that we drink in special glasses that we bought just for the drinks and making infused water in a big colorful jar with cucumber, watermelon, lemon, mint, and whatever fruit I have around, to name just a few. And last, but not the least, the conversation between Deirdre and her guest/coworker Edie Lambert was filled with joy and enthusiasm to turn listeners into more joyous human beings. Thank you so much for your dedication and brilliant podcasts, Deirdre, as well as for enriching our lives one podcast, one guest, and one inspirational story at a time. Carmen, your dying to listen raving fan!

Little luxuries
Great Podcast!!! Love the list you and Edie came up with and shared. I’m making my little luxury list now.

Great content and easy listening
Just finished the 200th episode. Congrats!!
It was all about little luxuries and things we sometimes may take for granted day to day. This episode was easy to listen to and helped me refocus what makes me happy in a day or motivates me. Deirdre & Edie make you feel like you’re sitting in a coffee shop with them. They’re smooth and fun to listen to.
As I sip my coffee and get ready to tackle my to-do list, I know I’ll be thinking about what my favorite little lux items are. I know for sure, one of them is coffee without my toddler climbing up my leg or asking for the 900th snack of the day.
I look forward to the next episode always!

Great tips and variety of topics!
I always learn something new from Deirdre’s Dying to Ask podcasts and she provides great tips on all kinds of topics. Time goes by so quickly while listening. Great for a walk around the park when I’m not with a friend. The variety of topics keeps me coming back for more.

Dying to Ask — Excellent Podcast
Deirdre Fitzpatrick’s podcast is relevant, interesting, and motivating!! One of my favorites!

Enjoy the podcast.
Podcast 166 Running. Enjoyed it have lived the experience. Sept 14th it will be 40 years of running. I always encourage people to start with pretty much everything you articulated in the podcast. Walk/run , goal is to run and improve though we all know sometimes improvement takes patience. I turned 70 this year and still go out every morning ( 5 days a week) Hard to explain how much better I feel by doing so. Still working and so noontime is a gym workout.
Last but not least loved the Bart Yasso quote😎 You know he is The Mayor of Running!

Always good subjects
Diedre is easy to listen to. Have watched her on tv for years but the podcasts show a dimension to her personality I never saw b4. Nice to see this more down to earth side of her.

Best way to get thru the miles
Keep them coming, I need the entertainment on my runs!!! You have a knack of keeping it entertaining and informative. Lots of times, I have to listen to them again( not a bad thing), to write down the brilliant ideas, the quotes and helpful hints.

Love to listen!!
I love listening to dying to ask!! There is such a happy positive energy throughout the show, I usually listen while I’m running, so that upbeat energy keeps smiles for miles!! Thanks Fitz!

Just love !
Deirdre, I absolutely love your podcast and look forward to each new one that comes out. I have been listening for years. I’m sorry it has taken so long to write a review. The funny thing is that I had to Google how to write a review… So I was successful and you are my first podcast review! I moved out of Sacramento last year and enjoyed this last segment with Edie Lambert. I always watched you both on KCRA and continue to receive the KCRA updates on my phone. You are so down to earth with your podcasts and appreciate all the tips that you share with us (books, LOVED gratitude game w your son, pandemic fog! ). I was laughing as my most recent goal is to get 8 hours of sleep ) so I will get a copy of the book “Why we Sleep”. So, just want to say THANK YOU and keep up the good work ! 👏- Tania

The Quest for Joy
Having grown up in the same communist Romania like your guest Carmen Micsa, I am inspired by her take on priorities and by your insight while interviewing her. The joy/fun that we cultivate in life propels us to do our work and pursue meaning with gusto. I enjoyed listening to your podcast and I am sharing it with my friends in Chicago. We all need the joy that helps us transcend difficult circumstances!

Schedule Fun First!
Carmen has taken running to a whole new level with her infectious determination and positive outlook on everything she undertakes.
Great podcast which emphasizes the importance having fun while pursuing goals whether they be work related or for self-improvement.
If you want to start your run on a positive note, listen to this PODCAST! You won’t be disappointed!

Fun first
Really fun getting to hear my friend Carmen speak in a podcast. She’s always been a positive force in our running community. Her “fun first” rule is a classic Carmen character trait that has served her well. Also, I was fascinated to hear how her upbringing in a communist country helped her cope more easily during this last year during quarantine. A unique perspective to be sure!

Carmen is so engaging!
I absolutely loved this message! You can’t help but catch her positive personality and like her. I’m not a runner but I am a writer and reader and her advice to schedule fun really resonated with me! And on top of that she is a published author, a running ambassador and a rapper! This made me exhausted with her list of accomplishments and she has a genuine gift of joy! I can’t wait to get her book and I am now a follower on her Instagram! Thank you Carmen for inspiring me to do more and have fun!

Fabulous interview
A great interview, relaxing and funny, meant to cheer us up and to motivate us !! Half an hour sure was not enough to listen to Carmen, such a complex personality!! She really is the "daughter of time" and the interview has proven it, taking Carmen back from her childhood in Romania until now!!
The recipe for success? Simple ingredients we all should use: enthusiasm, love and lots of fun in everything we do!!

Dying to Ask Podcast
I was catching up on several of your podcasts while out walking this morning. I love listening to you talk, Deirdre. You speak with authority, interest and enthusiasm without excessive use of pause words. And I love listening to your guests for the same reason. I heard the Fitz Tipz episode and wanted more. Please keep doing your podcasts. I am one happy follower!

Listening converted me
So, I’m new to podcast listening. Channel 3 news is my go to news Station and I’ve seen Deidre‘s iPod advertise so I thought I would give it a try. I don’t remember which podcast it was but it didn’t exactly draw me in but I listened anyway. I now love listening to your podcast. I think you do a great job you interview interesting people, they’re funny and they hold my attention even when I think they won’t I listen to them when I’m in the car or I am working around in the mountains during the summer.
Great job Deidre !!

A Surprise Hit (for me!)
Even the episodes I think I won’t be interested in hold my interest. Deidre asks the questions I’d like to ask and this podcast has been something to look forward to during my evening walk. Keep the episodes coming!

Audio was Distracting
The content was good but the audio was distracting. Deidre’s audio was much louder and she laughs loud way too often which gets annoying. But the interviewee was very interesting to listen too. Some tweaking on the podcast production could help a lot.

Love it
Thank you for making a podcast that makes me laugh and allows me to learn at the same time. During COVID-19 listening to the podcast has been a bright spot for me. Thank you!

Joan Lunden & AD
Growing up as an adult in the Sacramento area I have watched KCRA & GMA and feel like these gals are like good neighbors. I loved both of these interviews/conversations. I’ve ordered both of their books and can’t wait for them to arrive. I had planned on going to AD’s book signing but had a prior commitment that Saturday. Your PODCASTS are my walking companions and there are times I’ve missed my street😂
Keep them coming 👍🏻👏🏻

Uninstalling
Uninstalling. Tired of your network fanning flames of racism. The national guard just left here & your station sends out a phone blast on a Sunday afternoon of something that happened in Oklahoma in May. What are you trying to do? I don’t see the same for cops making blasts from Ch 3 app when they’re killed across the nation on a daily basis. Will do same with ch3 app. Enough!

On Point!
Really enjoyed the most recent podcasts. So relevant having lost both my parents in 2016. I endured the hard and sad process of emptying and ultimately selling our childhood home.
Boy did we have “stuff” accumulating since 1968, almost 50 yrs of worthless stuff. I felt like Your sister Siobhan was telling my story. We had the very cool big brown couch, china hutches and a 2 pianos 😂- the estate company finally had to mark it down to “free” just to empty the house. Your story has prompted me to revisit and reevaluate my own stuff.
Thank you! Looking forward to more great topics!

I’m all caught up on DTA episodes!
One of the things I enjoy about this podcast is the opportunity to learn unexpected things about the guests. I admit I wasn’t super interested when I read the topic of episode 11 with Brad Kearns had something to do with the Keto diet. But I listened and was surprised to learn about “speed golfing!” Fascinating! Almost every episode has been this way for me and I’m loving it! Please keep up the great work, Deirdre. I’m a fan and I'm hooked!

100 goals or just 1
Apparently I was channeling an inner Tim C. without knowing it. I set my mind to one goal in 2019, he has set 100 every year for 20 plus years. He gives you the tools to be accountable. But - my favorite advice is even in the hardest years, you can reach your goals. Episode 55 will be replayed when I need it most. #motivation #2020goals #failureleadstosuccess

I’m motivated!
Fitz, I’ve been listening to lots of podcasts and have begun the process of starting my own. Your episode of why I shouldn’t start this crazy adventure has inspired me. I listen to your episodes and every one of them inspires me more every time. You are in our home (KCRA) every morning. But each of your podcasts has a personal touch that our community can relate too. Keep them going.

I am OBSESSED with your podcast!! Decided to check it out since I live in Folsom and watch you on KCRA. Always loved Dierdre! The podcasts are so informative and Dierdre has the best gift of gab. I especially liked the podcast with Summer Sanders since I knew her “back when it all began” in Roseville. I personally love the podcasts with athletes. Keep up the good work and I hope to run into Dierdre out on the trails(as she runs past me)!!

I always love listening to your podcasts as you have such interesting guests and truly ask questions we all want to know. I especially loved the recent one with Chris Meyer. I can’t wait to read his book as his story is so incredibly unique but the underlying message is what we can all relate to. I also bet he’s much happier he got to do this podcast with you rather than the Today show !!! 😜. Keep up the great work!!
