I love this show. Being a parent myself, I can relate quite a bit as I try to squeak out time for gaming while also doing all my fatherly duties. This show both informs me of new games as well as almost getting a sense of comradery with other dads. The hosts are great. Ryan is a soft spoken guy and a great host. He’s also on The Gamer’s Inn as a host. I’d say he’s the more prudent approach to parenting and shares a lot of similar interest to myself. Crofton is… unique. (Kidding) He’s much more forward but not in an aggressive way, except towards his friend Beau. Together, they work and bicker in a purely enjoyable way about wrestling and anime.

I’m really excited for this podcast after listening to the pilot episode. It was the perfect mix of 1) Normal life 2) Nerdy life and 3) Parenting life. I don’t have kids yet, but I’m interested to hear how to keep the work/family/game life balance when I get to that point.
