Vanessa lived in Syracuse, NY for three years lending her talents to the effort of turning around a struggling school. The school received 11 awards during her tenure for: decreased attrition of teachers, family and community involvement, meeting NY State DIIR targets in year 1, most improved teacher attendance, rigorous restorative practices, and decreased recidivism (including serious incidents, OSS & ISS).
