Best podcast. Truly one of the greats

Maggie is a goddamn delight & this podcast keeps me from wanting to jump out of a window on slow days at work. Plus I love sharing the random animal facts I now know to sound super smart around my friends.

Just like nature! Maggie is an excellent host, the guests are fun and funny, and mother nature is full of some spectacular quirks. I love the dilettants' explanations, and I really love the occasional Actual Scientist appearances too. Only a dash of drunk, but a lot a lot of animals, this is one of my top favorites. (And it's well worth working through all the back episodes - perfect for my morning commute! I'll catch up eventually!)

I somehow found this podcast through twitter and decided “eh I’ll give it a shot.” This was an excellent decision. It’s an excellent balance between informative and comedic. There have been times I’ve laughed out loud in my car, and times I gasped in amazement at a new animal fact. I also like that the guests are quite diverse! Heck yeah representation!

What a fantastic podcast! Informative and hilarious, and a go to for animal facts and a good laugh! Maggie does a great job getting a variety of guests who all bring a little something different to the show. If you have a road trip coming up, or just want to show up for work Monday morning in a good mood, do yourself a favor and listen to Drunk Safari!

I look forward to this show every time that there is a new episode. Maggie and all of her guests are hilarious, including the scientists! Drunk Safari is always a great break from news and work.

If so, this is the podcast for you! I had to abandon a lot of my old podcasts because, you guessed it, they were depressing. Drunk Safari is not only light hearted but absolutely hillarious and a joy to listend to. I have certainly laughed out loud on public transit with this show and I'm not even embarrassed. I can't wait to find out who else makes it into the three timers club and lately guests have included both dilettantes AND actual real scientists. It's a great podcast and I'm excited to keep listening!

This is honestly one of my favorite podcasts ever! So funny and fantastic for interesting info on the animal kingdom. The best of the Kingdoms. I would like to hear someone do the deep sea angler fish. Their mating situation is the most fantastic and I believe they are a true feminist hero. Keep it up! I love listening to you speak words!

Perfect for the person who loves wildlife, arcane factoids, obscure cultural references, swearing and a strong dose of cheek. I would learn more from the podcast if I weren’t laughing so much.

I first heard of this through Jason on The Binge, and I am now combing through the backlog of old episodes because I can't stop listening! Though the show admittedly is not hosted by a scientist, the science/humor combination is unmatched by any other podcast I have found.

I’ve been listening to Maggie (and Adam) since the beginning of Let’s Not Panic, which is also great. Drunk Safari is hilarious and fascinating. Lots of fun to listen to. I recommend it highly.

Great for the nostalgic millenial who has fond memories of ZooBooks, but maybe hasn't thought about the wonders of the animal kingdom in a while. Maggie and her guests are consistently funny and charming while they explore the boundless horrors of birds, bugs and other members of the animal kingdom.

If you’re looking to be entertained, please listen to this podcast. I have genuinely learned a lot from this show and I especially loved the episode that covered domesticated cats. Great show, Maggie is a hoot!

This is my go-to. I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed it yet. Maggie and her guests cover every anima you ever wondered about any many that you wish you hadn’t. I haven’t learned anything, but I keep coming back... When I’m sad it makes me happy. When I am happy it makes me laugh. I keep wondering: if I had to describe an animal to an alien, would I have to write it in little ink blob rings? That doesn’t make any sense to you? You’ll have to listen to understand!

I had both Safari Cards and Wildlife Treasury, so I’m not easy to impress, but catching up with Maggie and her guests has been the best thing I could have done with any recent free time I’ve had.

I started listening to this podcast after Let's Not Panic and am consistently pleased with every episode. It's hillarious and serves as a light-hearted break in this overwhelming world. I am a big fan of science and nature and I am just loving this podcast. Some scientific information coupled with hilarity. Well done!

This podcast is the perfect combination of hilarity and intense knowledge-bombs. By the end of the episode, you will have fallen in love with Maggie and her guest and either be obsessed with or terrified of the animals discussed, or both if it’s a truly special animal. What more can you ask for?

Let’s Not Panic is by far my favorite podcast that I have ever listened to, and Drunk Safari is a close second. It is such a pleasure to hear Maggie and Adam and the myriad of other hiLarious guests crack jokes, but it’s even better when they prepare extensively before recording. Give it a listen!

When I first discovered this show I listened to 17 episodes in a row. Love how genuinely happy the guests are to be there. Lemony Snickett’s representative was particularly perfect. MAGGIE MAGGIE MAGGIE 🤟🏻

I started off with the recent Seanan McGuire episode, which is amazing! This is such a fun podcast!

Sometimes I can't tell but it is a super fun podcast so who cares! When Adam appears it is the best. Maggie is really into animals and it is a quotable podcast that will help you regail your friends with obscure and intereting facts at cocktail parties. Come on now, let tip that bottle!

I’ve been listening to Drunk Safari for a while now. And LOVE it! I’ll bring up animal facts at work, they say, “You’ve been listening to Drunk Safari again, haven’t you?” And the banter between Maggie and Adam is funny and familiar. The other week she came up with a new question, and everybody, myself included, went... wait, what? And it’s the perfect length to make dinner while listening. Always recommend it it to strangers, and friends!

This podcast is infectious. So much information given in a fun, conversational style. I love how into their animals the guests are. Who doesn’t want to learn about nature’s most horrible orifice, or that sperm whales run their own collectives? I can now say that I WILL be the most well informed guest at any cocktail party! Btw just saw an article on my newsfeed that says that pigeons should be my favorite animal...what would Maggie think about that? Guess Buzzfeed didn’t listen to her podcast about the common pigeon that is riddled with parasites lol

I listen to it all the time. What could be better than fun aminal facts? (Not "animal facts," we're drunk on this safari.)

The first 4.99 stars are for the compelling concept and content, and the charismatic and keenly competent creators. The last 0.01 is for the little “doot-doot doot-doot doot!” after each animal is announced.

I found this podcast courtesy of Maggie’s original podcast with her husband and reluctant occasional (but still delightful) drunk safari cohost, Adam. The best thing I can say about this podcast is that it frequently brings me to tears with laughter. This is most problematic when I am running and listening to it with headphones, as it results in me looking like a maniacal crazy person, gasping for air while I laugh at apparently nothing to a casual onlooker. It’s interesting, informative, and makes you sad to wait for the next installment.

One of my favorite things is being around people who are obviously having a good time. That’s what this podcast is like. Every episode is just a delight to listen to, funny and fun.

An actual, literal Safari — one in which your guides are questionably authoritative and (when it’s Adam and Maggie hosting) serve up “OMGMomandDadGetARoom!-Realness.” I want to take their little noses and sew them on a coat. That’s how cute they are (idiom is “as cute as a button,” for all you aliens listening). 🤗 However, I’m a bit concerned with Adam’s perception of his own strength...I can’t help but wonder about his odds of survival if he ever comes face-to-face with anything (esp. monkeys/apes!). Having already come to love Maggie's personality from listening to "Let's Not Panic," I so appreciate the ramped up hilarity of this podcast's format and guests. I'm surprisingly learning new things too, while trying to keep a straight face on the metro during my commute. If you're looking for a ridiculously fun and silly podcast, search no further! <3

Maggie and Adam can do any podcast by themselves. Their natural bantering is just great or as Maggie prefer to call it “trolling” Adam. I understand this isn’t exactly scientific podcast on animals, yet i find it informative and worthy my time.

I started listening to this podcast after falling in love with Maggie (and Adam) on Let's Not Panic (weird fan alert sry). Maggie is hilarious and her guest choices are on point. I love animals and something about this podcast just gets me so hype. I often have to not laugh out loud at work whilst listening. A+ job at creating this, Maggie, and A++ for the list of questions.

I really enjoyed the Let's Not Panic Podcast and the stories and adventures Maggie and Adam shared. It's great to have another great podcast from them. It just makes me smile, no politics, no stress, just goofy animal conversations. The guests so far have been lovely and entertaining. Thank you for a great podcast!

I love this show, it’s everything I didn’t know I wanted or needed.
