Matthew 5-7 is perhaps the greatest monologue ever given: the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus begins the recorded portion of His teaching by focusing on a commitment to following Him. This was unlike anything the disciples had ever heard before. The Sermon on the Mount shows us what a heart that loves and wants to follow Jesus produces in a life.
