Overall book review (spoilers)
Wine: iGreco - cata rosso!
Cheers to the end of the book! This week we discuss the book overall, including our favorite and least favorite parts with a wonderful wine from iGreco, the Tumasu Rosso! It's got raspberry and chocolate front and the back half hits with earthy overtones. Thick and totally worth the ten bucks!
The book got an overall rating of 8/10! The Kaladin/Shallan stuff pushed the rating to the 8, we were surprised to love Shallan after hating her all of book 1.
Hopefully things don't become too formulaic with the final big battle where Kaladin comes back to save Dalinar.
Shout out to Bill/Haley Fords "Bored to death" Podcast where I came on as a guest to talk about our love of all things Mordheim!
We'll take a break for a few weeks as we settle into life in Naples. Stay tuned for next season where we introduce a new theme song, use an actual microphone and use a new format in a new country! Hopefully we can integrate everyone's comments/suggestions, and if you've got something to say feel free to email/Instagram us!
Thanks for coming along with us on the journey, Radiants!

This week we take to the sky with the earthy Ruden 2018, Astoria.
The wine is absolutely delicious! It's earthy and Iron-ish! Reminds me of cooking steak with a cast-iron skillet! It's also delectably smooth and dry.
The Sanderlanche is totally worth it! Made it to the end! So much going on shows what a master storyteller he is!
This part gets us to a 7.5/10! She thinks there's too much fighting that takes away from character, which I of course disagree with... but she has a point!

This week is the first episode from Italy! The wine this time was literally 2Euro's from the store down the road in Torre Del Greco! It's called Aglianico Beneventano - Le Terre del Normanno. We've got to admit, it's better than most wines we've had on the podcast! She's Full bodied, dry, tastes dark but not fruity; smooth and soft. Not as soft as menage e tres silk, but similar in substance and overall feel. Definitely recommend!
As this is our first podcast from Italy, we're still in an Airbnb, so please excuse the dog barking. Other than that, grab a drink and join us as we discuss Words of Radiance; Ch68 to the end of part 4!

Well everyone, it's our last week of Podcasting in Bahrain! A Bit bittersweet of a move, but we celebrate with a momentous wine!
This is the most Expensive wine we've ever had on the podcast! The Barolo Cannubi 2012 (Damilano). It's hand down the best wine bottle of wine we've had on the podcast, and at 77 dollars it's also the most expensive wine we've ever had as well! It's incredibly smooth, with a full body, warm, and just one of the best things ever. Not very heavy; fruity but dark. Can't explain how there's no chemical after taste afterwards other than saying; "clean finish"!
Grab a drink and come with us as we continue Words of Radiance thru the middle of part 4!

The Book is HEATING UP! Got the rating up to a solid 7 this week "Because I can't just be giving out 10's all the time".
This week's discussion is emboldened with Sera Fleur Yuruli; a Sweet, dark and smooth wine from Hiroshima! It tastes like grape juice, could legitimately not tell if there was alcohol even in it.
Wouldn't pair it with anything, this wine is meant to be enjoyed by itself!

Join us as we go thru Part 2 and the Interludes with Barone Di Freganius Primitivo Di Manduria, a casual wine perfect for day-drinking. It got the job done tonight, so prepare for a lot of profanity as well as spoilers as we go!

Hey everyone! This week we decided to spruce it up a bit with some home made cocktails. She needed a Guinea pig and I'm always down to clown. If you're feeling up for a hard morning, get your limes and juicers ready and follow the recipes below. Our limes were REALLY fresh and man these drinks were sour! Next time I think I'll just use a branded lemonade for the Lynchberg lemonade.
Pineapple Margarita:
1.5oz Tequila, .75oz Triple SEc, .75oz lime juice + 2oz Pineapple juice
Lynchberg Lemon(lime)aid
1.5oz JD, 1oz Triple Sec, 4oz Sprite, 1oz Lime Juice.

Join us this week with a sweet and tasty (to some, maybe), sweet Shiraz. It was one of those wines that's so bad, it's good! Super sweet and not what either of us were expecting. Also, one of us questioned what Jam Jar meant (during the podcast)...turns out it literally just means a jar for holding jam... ::face palm::
Reminder that we spoil as we go, so be warned!

We're back! New and improved with a Storming Intro, Airsick discussion and even MORE Mid-tier wines! Reminder that we spoil as we go, so if you hadn't read through chapter 7 (including ch7) be forewarned!
Mandrarossa's Chardonnay Laguna Secca is crisp and neat with a hint of citrus. It's basically alcoholic grape juice, so it's probably perfect for most table-wine settings!
