Christine Wayne is a not only a remarkable individual in the non-alcoholic space but also one of my North Stars on my journey in this space. Today, she joins me on Drink Sober, Not Boring to share her unique story and perspective. Christine is the founder of On The Mocks, a recovery community created out of her desire to learn about non alcoholic drinks from others also going through the transition from drinker to alcohol free. But— her journey to sobriety goes beyond just creating and showcasing drinks. Christine's path to recovery started with a heart attack at the shocking age of 37 which started a record year for her where she travelled, lived and loved more than ever. After that, the bounceback to reality made her realize that drinking was no longer fun but instead becoming sad. Through immense gratitude and determination, she decided to seek help and found a dual diagnosis treatment center that addressed both her addiction and underlying mental health issues.
