In this episode, Kaho had the brilliant idea to sing Mozart and Schubert's songs in both German and Japanese, considering that these songs arrived in Japan during the Meiji era (1868-1912). We also explored the traditional Scottish song 'Auld Lang Syne,' which is a famous graduation song in Japan. Our discussion was both insightful and great fun! We delved into the history of Ueno Park in Tokyo, the aesthetics of eternity and beauty, and surprisingly, we discussed Japanese colonization in Taiwan.
