Author Candace Kade grew up in China where she was the only American at her all-Chinese school. When she moved back to US, she wrestled with finding her place in American culture. Currently, Candace lives in Austin, Texas where she has fooled most of her neighbors into thinking she’s “normal”. She writes young adult adventure novels with themes of identity and home in them. When not missing China, Candace is busy writing, exploring new countries, volunteering, hiking in national parks, teaching her husband Mandarin, and keeping a baby human alive. Emma Fowler is a British-born South African-raised musician, writer and model. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Jeremy, where they are living their dreams and pursuing the desires of their hearts. Having graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2018 with a degree in songwriting and drum set performance, Emma moved to Los Angeles and became involved in various bands and projects.
