Dr. Madson sits down with PHS teachers Laura Kowalski from the Biomedical Science program, Brian Kiernan who teaches Cyber Security and Bruce Lubak in the Technology Education/Engineering department. Each teacher is certified to teach Project Lead The Way's national curriculum in Biomedical Science, Engineering and Computer Science (respectively). The courses and pathways include career exploration and hands-on learning labs that help students discover their passion for learning in each of the fields. Dr. Madson sits down with Dr. Renee Mosser, the District new Visual and Performing Arts Director, along with Theatre teacher Natalie Gabrie and Art teachers Alyssa Tauber and Abby Chua-Root. Additionally, two senior students, Tariq Shahid and Katelyn Attieh, shared about their experiences in the music department. Tariq plays violin in the orchestra and pit orchestra and has enjoyed trying new things in music. Katelyn is the Club President for Festival of the Arts and a member of Performing Arts Club and involved in theatre, band, chorus and orchestra. She also served as the leader of this year's PHS Trojan Marching Band. Together they share the way that artists tell their stories through their creations and creative voice.

Dr. Mark Madson sits down with Parkland High School Principal Nathan Davidson and Randy Galiotto, Architect and co-founder of Alloy5 Architecture and Design firm that specializes in school buildings. The three talk about the past year and a half that included a feasibility study that analyzed current space in the District as we continue to grow. The study looked at classroom space in all buildings, building utilization, where residential development is happening or projected to occur, and pressure points across the District. Then, the team worked with staff and students to assess future needs as well as analyze possibilities for construction options. They also visited other school districts who underwent expansion projects in recent years at the secondary level because that is where Parkland's projected enrollment growth is of most concern. As a result, the high school is about to undergo an expansion and plans to reconfigure Orefield's site are in the works as one project affects the other. Dr. Madson speaks with the Parkland boys' and girls' basketball coaches, as well as players Nick Coval, Talia Zurinskas, and Madison Siggins, about their remarkable seasons. During the interview, Dr. Madson highlighted the individual accomplishments of the players. Nick Coval surpassed the 2,000-point mark during the postseason. Both Talia Zurinskas and Madison Siggins reached the 1,000-point milestone during the regular season. The coaches and players reflected on their teams' success and the hard work that went into their impressive campaigns.
