Debating Worldviews with Muslims and Atheists - Interview with James White
Taking a position on truth is pretty unpopular today, but there are still some who have the courage to do it in the public forum. Dr. James White is one of the nation's most active Christian apologists and debaters, having debated atheists, Muslims, etc. over the last twenty years. Here, Kevin Swanson interacts with James on how to engage the battle in the dangerous war of ideas—with meekness and fear.

Hayden Carroll's Claims, Then Jeremiah 18 and the Potter's Freedom
Started off digging into Hayden Carroll, LDS influencer and, I honestly believe, deceiver, finally looking into Deuteronomy 32:8 and the claims LDS make about a textual variant in 4Q7 from the DSS. Then we moved to a presentation on the relationship of Jeremiah 18 and Romans 9, the potter and the clay, looking at both texts, their languages, applications, and other places where the potter and vessels metaphors occur. About 70 minutes today!

Challenging Days Still Ahead, Hayden Carroll Misuses Quotes
Did not intend to spend the first half hour talking about the challenges facing us in the US as the mid-terms approach, but, that's what happened! Then we moved to a clip of LDS apologist Hayden Carroll misrepresenting Millard Erickson and Charles Ryrie in a dialogue on the Trinity.

Jimmy Akin "Destroys" Me by Ignoring my Argument, CS Lewis, then De
Went a bit long today so we that could cover a lot of ground, including more D'Souzian silliness with CS Lewis, and then Matt Fradd saying Jimmy Akin "destroyed" me (when he didn't even address my actual argument), and finishing up with a look at four key texts on the decree of God in the Bible, all up on the big board.

Those Who Fight Against the Decree Identified, and then Back to Dositheos
Introduced a new word to the world today, Βουλομάχοι, which means "those who fight against the decree." Identified Dinesh D'Souza and his cohorts by the term, and even offered to have a t-shirt made with the term for Leighton Flowers if he'd like one. Anyway, covered various theories of how God's knowledge relates to events in time from an X post Dinesh D'Souza reposted, and then went back to the final paragraph of the 3rd chapter of the Confession of Dositheos which just happens to be on the exact same topic as the first part of the program!

D'Souzian Levels of Hubris Then Back to Dositheos
Made the mistake of reading, and responding, on X right before the program started so...ended up covering enough D'Souzian hubris to do an entire edition of Radio Free Geneva, if we had wanted to play the theme! But, got back to the Confession of Dositheos though we are right at the part where it is addressing the very same issues, so, the topic did remain fairly consistent for the full hour. Briefly responded to an LDS apologist in the middle there somewhere, but, similar topic as well.

Some Quick Notes from the Net, Then to the EO Position on Free Will
Touched on a few items from the web to get started, but then transitioned back to the Confession of Dositheos, which, honestly, is the confession of Provisionism, too. I have already heard of Provisionists who swam the Bosporus, it is a really short swim!

Upcoming Debate, Yes, Christ is King, and Motivation and Action
Three major topics today, first, some more on the upcoming "debate" involving Dinesh D'Souza and his ever worsening diatribes against Calvinism. Then we responded to Joel Webbon's pious defense of having Alex Jones speak at a "Christ is King" Conference, and finished up doing in-depth in response to Leighton Flowers on Genesis 50 and motivations and actions.

Alex Jones Is Certifiably Nuts, Empress Irene Put Her Son's Eyes Out
Started off looking at developments on the Dinesh D'Souza front, looking at his citation of Jeremiah 19:5. Looked at the posting of a clip from Alex Jones in which I honestly stated that it seemed to me he was on drugs, his language and vile speech shocking even those on the program with him. And this is the lead speaker at the Christ is King conference in November. Then we moved back to Eastern Orthodoxy and looked at Empress Irene and her foundational role in calling, running, and determining the outcome of, the Second Nicene Council in 787.

Radio Free Geneva!
Put up a nicely done graphic against Calvinism and started there, walking through its common objections and providing the same responses we have provided for decades now. Then we looked at Leighton Flowers attempting to turn John 6 into a Provisionist Pretzel (applauded by Jenna Ellis) while ignoring the reality of what happened to him in the debate a few years ago. Enjoy!
