Attachment theory is a psychological framework that was developed by the British psychologist John Bowlby in the mid-20th century. The theory focuses on the bonds and emotional connections that develop between infants and their primary caregivers, usually their parents. Attachment is considered to be a fundamental aspect of human development and plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's social and emotional functioning throughout their life.

In this Episode Dr BB explains some of the attachment styles an individual may have. She also explains attachment theory suggests that the quality of early attachments influences an individual's ability to form and maintain relationships in adulthood. Securely attached individuals tend to have healthier relationships, while insecurely attached individuals may face challenges in forming and maintaining relationships.

Come join Dr BB to find out your attachment style and how you can change from an insecurely attached style to becoming more securely attached.
