الأستاذ الدكتور علي جمعة محمد عبد الوهّاب - عضو هيئة كبار العلماء بالأزهر الشريف - هوعالم دين أزهري مصري الجنسية، من مواليد 3 مارس 1952 بمحافظة بني سويف. شغل منصب مفتي الديار المصرية خلال الفترة من 2003 إلى 2013؛ اشتهر بالعديد من الفتاوي الدينية والآراء المجددة. اختير ضمن أكثر خمسين شخصية مسلمة تأثيرًا في العالم لاثني عشر عامًا على التوالي من (2009 - 2020) حسب تقييم المركز الملكي للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية بعمّان في الأردن، عارض توريث الحكم في مصر في عهد الرئيس محمد حسني مبارك، دعم القضية الفلسطينية وزار القدس، له العديد من الأنشطة الاجتماعية التي ساعد بها الفقراء.
