Chris is great at taking you into the docs and locking into the quirky weird characters and keeping things funny in between the dry parts of the docs. I love documentaries and Chris and Dave can make docs I’ve seen 10 times refreshed, and they dig and give you new ones to check out. Highly recommend, DICE CONTROL!!!! OH!!!

Pretty funny and great concept. Neff is pretty funking funny for someone transitioning. Not sure who the other two losers are but they’re pretty funny too sometimes.

I love their take on the documentaries. Some I’ve seen and others I have not. It’s hysterical the commentary and breakdown of each one. You’re literally waiting for the next punchline on something that is already crazy. I look forward to listening on my drive to work every week.

One of the shows I look forward to every week. Chris and Dave have a great chemistry when it comes to discussing the docs and manage to sneak in just enough raunchy comedy. I think Dave not watching them honestly helps. Not having prior knowledge helps him gets so interested in some of the docs and seeing his genuine reactions to Chris’ excellent retellings get me excited for what’s happening next in the doc, it feels like you’re watching it! You guys help me pass the time at work, thanks so much. 10/10 would recommend

These guys are hilarious, informative and a great listen. Some of the docs they cover I’ve never heard of and it’s great because it’s a way to find out about movies I may have missed otherwise. Both very funny and seasoned in comedy and in the moment remarks. At first I was like, over 2 hours of content!? But it’s a fun and easy listen and one I highly recommend! Check it out!

Love Down on the Docs. As a longtime fan of documentaries I find this show almost like a sailor or a blacksmith might refer to a trusty manual. I would love to see a visual component of the show, as I have always imagined Dustin and Dave to be a gay couple and would like to read their body language. Also more docs on the subjects of kabuki, sounding, and the process of manufacturing instant noodles would be a welcome endeavor. I am not Russian. Five stars!

Love the jump in jokes. They’re cracking each other up along with us. Chris is great as the steadying host while Dustin lets em rip. You learn enough about the docs to decide to watch or not. Highly recommended

I love the concept. Chris and Dustin give their own comedic reviews on current documentaries. It’s like Beavis and Butthead in podcast form but instead of music videos, they’re making fun of documentaries. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts in episode 2 on Trainwreck Woodstock 99. Keep it going fellas!
