After serving as a minister on church staff for 20 years, he continues to work as a freelance teacher and consultant. With degrees from Drew, Harvard, and Duke, Douglas has written 35 books, recorded over 700 podcasts, and spoken in over 100 universities, and in over 500 cities, in 126 nations. He has engaged in a number of debates with well-known atheists, imams, and rabbis, and also serves as an adjunct professor of theology at Lincoln Christian University. Since the late '90s, Douglas has led annual tours to the biblical world.
