Always worth my time
Erin and Jessica are a podcasting duo that has been around the block for a number of years, 10 if I recall correctly. Besides both being extremely talented knitters, Jessica is a spinner and Erin a seamstress. They are prolific knitters of sweaters and each has a soft spot for smaller projects like socks and hats. Their podcast episodes also include thoughtful movie, TV reviews and book reviews. My queues grow with every episode. I thoroughly enjoy their friendly banter and their rapport.

Belated Love for DoubleKnit
It’s way past time for me to be leaving this review! I’ve been listening to this podcast since about 2010, and it was one of the first knitting podcasts I found. Despite finding many others since then, this one is still my favorite. Jessica and Erin are fantastic knitters, but I also get many of my book, movie, and tv ideas from them! A smart, interesting, and entertaining podcast. (Ravelry Name: flyingmuse)

Always enjoy listening!
I love listening to Erin and Jessica...their knowledge is very helpful and it's always fun to hear the projects they are working on or have finished. Thank you for doing what you do so well!!

On of the best knitting podcasts out there!
I've been listening to the Doubleknit Podcast for a few years now and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite knitting podcasts! Jessica and Erin have great chemistry and I really enjoy listening to them talk about what they are knitting as well as discussing books and movies. I've read a few books and seen several movies based on their advice. I don't live near a decent LYS so Doubleknit Podcast is my substitute for knit night. Keep up the great work ladies!

Funny and Honest
This is my favorite knitting podcast because Erin and Jessica do not take themselves too seriously. They knit a lot so they have many different projects they can discuss and give their honest opinions about. They also give their opinions on books, movies and TV shows which are also usually honest, informative and funny. There is so much sadness and political correctness in the world that a "let your hair down" lighthearted podcast is a welcome addition to my day.

One of my faves
You guys... I listen to a lot of knitting podcasts, and this one is one of my favorites. They don't record every week, but I actually like that I don't get way far books. Great conversation about knitting, plus books and movies. This one's a keeper. :)

Doubleknit, double the fun!
Although this podcast isn't on a regular schedule, when it shows up on my podcast feed it is the FIRST one I listen to. Love their fun and insightful banter about knitting, movies and books. Always great recommendations -- patterns, etc. Thanks

Knitting, books, movies and sewing
Erin and Jessica make really insightful comments about knitting that are useful for beginner and advanced knitters. And they have great senses of humor.

A favorite
I really appreciate this podcast! These girls are really knowlegeable about knitting and I like hearing tidbits about what they are viewing and reading. Little interruptions from the kids and cats are welcome--not obtrusive and make the podcasters relatable. Thank you for a great podcast.

Doubleknit virgin no more!
I listened this morning for the first time - what a great show! So entertaining, informative and easy to listen to. Your sound quality is terrific!
I have a soft spot for the Seattle area - family in Bothell, Shoreline & Lynwood - and visit often. I was tickled to hear this is where you are located. The next time I am out visiting, I will be sure to pop in to your shop :D
Keep up the wonderful show - cant wait for your next 'cast!

One of my absolute favorites!
I love, love, love this podcast. It is one of the first ones I look for each week when I'm downloading onto my iPod. Sometimes if I'm driving I almost have to pull over to write down all of the great information they are giving on patterns, books and movies. You really, really do need to have a pen and paper ready when listening to this one because you will want to knit everything, read everything and go to everything they talk about. (seriously, though they do pan some stuff). Can't say enough about this podcast.

Great podcast
I love listening to Jessica and Erin chat about knitting, books and tv. Good sound quality and great in and out music. Especially interesting to hear about the yarn industry from a LYS manager.

Always Enjoyable!
This is such an interesting podcast - love the reviews and project sharing. Thanks for podcasting!

Great Duo Knitting Podcast
These gals do a great podcast! One is the manager of a LYS and the other works there on weekends, so they are both knowledgable of yarns, patterns and trends! They are really down to earth and listening to the podcast is like overhearing a chat between friends. In addtion to the great knitting talk, they are also avid readers and tv/movie watchers and share their latest finds both good and bad. Just an enjoyable podcast.

Love catching up with the Doubleknit girls!
Such a wonderful podcast! I love hearing about everything that Erin and Jessica have been up to, from their knitting projects to the books and movies they've been enjoying. I always come away wanting to take on something new.

Great Podcast!
I love this podcast. I love their clear descriptions of yarns and patterns and even find their reviews on movies and shows entertaining (even though I rarely watch anything they talk about!). So happy for you guys in celebrating your 50th podcast! Here's to 50 more!

Worth listening!
The Doubleknit ladies are fun to listen to and get an incredible amount of knitting done! I love to hear about their new projects and book and magazine reviews. Give them a listen.

Love it, but....
I really enjoy listening to this podcast, great personalities, great voices, great show. But I like to listen out loud and it is ALMOST but not quite CLEAN for little ones. That is my only issue. Good job! I'm still up in the air.
Also, I'm not usually a fan of interruptions, but I love Audrey!

Love this Podcast
I love Erin & Jessica's podcast. I found the book & movie reviews really funny and helpful. I also liked that they shared information about upcoming products. Two thumbs way up!

Audrey, not so much
I enjoy the content of the podcast immensely. Reminds me of Stash and Burn. The only thing I would recommend to make this a 5 star podcast, (and please don't hate me for this), is to find a sitter for Audrey while you're recording. Having a young child interrupting the flow by coughing, sneezing, banging things, whining, is distracting and interrupting to the content of your conversation. I find myself, instead of listening and enjoying what you say, waiting for the next Audrey bomb.

Truth In Listening
Love these ladies!
I only recently found out about the Doubleknit podcast. I pushed aside all other podcasts so I could get caught up. I've listened to all but the first few podcasts, which aren't available on iTunes, but are available on their website (doubleknit.net). I really like listening to Jessica and Erin discuss their knitting. (I'm amazed at how much they're able to knit!) But I especially like hearing about the books they're reading and the movies/tv they've been watching. Their conversational style is fantastic. As a result of this podcast I've learned about projects I want to knit, books I want to read, and movies I want to see. Great podcast.

knitting, books, and movies!
I just heard about this podcast on Stash and Burn. It is GREAT! I'm sorry I didn't hear about it until now. The ladies talk about what's on their needles, new patterns, and books they're reading and movies they've been watching. I love it! Reminds me of hanging out with my sister.

Remarkable!
Listening to the ladies is like sitting with good friends and enjoying a yack and knit. Good info all around! Please keep up the good work!

This is a great podcast!
It's hard to say more than that. If you like Stash and Burn, you'll like this one as well. I love their back and forth discussions about yarn/knitting/crochet, books and movies. The knitting talk is insightful and entertaining and the book/movie talk is fun and not overpowering to the podcast. I really enjoy this one and hope they continue for a long time!

books, movies, KNITTING!
so many "friends chatting" podcasts fail to land for me. this one ROCKS. very informal but very intelligent, long on knitting but broad on culture--lit and film anyway. i'm constantly taking notes! i really appreciate your work, gals!!

Great Podcast!
I found this podcast through Stash and Burn and LOVE IT! I listened to all 5 in a row! I love that they not only talk about what they are knitting they give an insiders view of the fiber world!

More, please!
Having enjoyed the first two episodes so much, I hope these ladies keep recording - they're a lot of fun and do a great job!

Great New Podcast
I'm really looking forward to future episodes. Jessica and Erin provide exactly what I look for in a knitting podcast: informative discussions about yarn and patterns, fantastic music, as well as, book and movie reviews. On the technical side the sound quality is really good although the transitions from music to talk could allow for a few more seconds of music (can you tell I like the music?) Can't wait to hear more.

Excellent Podcast!
I really enjoyed the debut episode of this podcast and hope there are many more to come. Unlike some podcasts, it's not silly or giggly or crass or rude. It strikes a wonderful note and has great information useful to those of us in the knitting world. If you're more interested in knitting news and views than the "look how funny we are!" podcasts out there, this is the one for you. Great job, ladies!

Very promising
"Doubleknit: the debut episode" is remarkably good for a first podcast; it's already above average in the knitting podgenre. The delivery is casual and conversational and the podcasters are mature (and by that I do not mean old, I just mean not childishly silly). They discussed specific patterns and yarns, their current projects, and their local and regional knit scene. They are also interested in cinema but that was mentioned only tangentially. I found them to be pleasant audio company during a relaxing knit.
