Doobie Shipp
doobieology | doo.bie. o. logy | noun . a podcast created by Doobie Shipp, and the study of literature, cinema, and television by a teenager dedicated to teenagers. Doobieology is a personal journal. Ever since the start of the second season of this podcast, my goal has been to create a platform where I review the best of books, movies, and TV shows, in the most fun way I can, while also hoping to connect with teenagers within the high school demographic who are as interested and intrigued about the art of media as I am. This podcast is a tribute/ appreciation of journalism. An art.
Q&A Vol II
Hello! This episode is a continuation of the Q&A series I have been doing. I ask questions on Doobieology social media, and you guys are able to put your responses for a chance to get them answered on the episodes! I very much look forward to doing this more. **APOLOGIES ABOUT THE POP FILTER THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE. I COULD NOT FIND IT TODAY, AND DECIDED TO RECORD WITHOUT IT. SIMPLE MISTAKE.** Otherwise, enjoy!

Moneyball: The Story Of The 2002 Oakland Athletics
Hey everyone! I’m back after a long……break. I recently just graduated from high school, and have been working on my writing for my upcoming job, so I haven’t had time to write for this. But I’m back! This episode is about the 2002 Oakland Athletics, and how Billy Beane and Paul DePodsta shaped their team into one of the best teams in the league, with a very low payroll. This episode is based off of the amazing book about Moneyball by Michael Lewis, and the movie featuring Brad Pitt. I’m glad to be back making episodes! Hopefully you guys are happy as well.

Doobieology Short Reviews: It Ends With Us
Hey everyone! On the first edition of Doobieology shorts, I covered the infamous Colleen Hoover novel, It Ends With Us. I think….a lot about this novel, and they aren’t good thoughts. This will be the first of many short reviews to keep content at a maximum while I produce episodes, but in the meantime, enjoy! Don’t forget to rate and share the podcast as well! :)

Fight Club Is Misunderstood
Hello, and welcome back! On this returning episode, I discussed Fight Club! Fight Club was a novel released in 1996 by Chuck Palahniuk, and later adapted into the beloved 1999 film by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham-Carter. It is misunderstood within the grand scheme of media, as it’s messages are not taken seriously. It is satire right in our faces. What do I mean? Check out this episode!

Quentin Tarantino & The Art of Dialogue
Hey! This isn’t really an episode, more of a segment of my appreciation for Quentin Tarantino and his dialogue. He’s genuinely one of my favorite directors, and his dialogue is probably his standout feature that inspires me.
