Doctrine Matters Podcast
Steven Dew
On the Doctrine Matters Podcast, I talk about primary, secondary, and tertiary doctrines found in Scripture in an easy to understand format. I also spend time discussing current events going on in the world from a Biblical perspective. This podcast will help not only the deep thinker in theology, but it will help the layperson in any Church understand some of the more difficult things we find in the Scriptures. The podcast was formed to run everything both Biblical and current events in our world through a Biblical lens to give God glory, exalt Christ, and encourage one another.
The Doctrine Most Christians Say They Believe, Until........
In a world filled with chaos, uncertainty, and constant change, one truth remains unshaken: God is absolutely sovereign. In this powerful episode of Doctrine Matters, we take a deep, Scripture driven dive into the sovereignty of God and what it means for your life right now. This is not shallow theology or feel good talk. This is a bold, biblical look at the God who rules over all things with perfect authority, wisdom, and purpose. From the rise and fall of nations to the smallest details of your life, nothing is outside His control. Every moment, every decision, every trial is under His rule. The same God who created all things is actively sustaining all things and working all things together for His glory and the good of His people. If you have ever wrestled with questions about suffering, control, fear, or the direction of your life, this episode will ground you in truth and call you to trust the One who never fails. This episode will strengthen your faith, deepen your understanding of God, and remind you that you are not at the mercy of chance. You are under the care of a sovereign King. Turn this on, open your Bible, and prepare to be challenged, encouraged, and anchored in the truth of God’s Word. #DoctrineMatters #SovereigntyOfGod #ReformedTheology #BiblicalTruth #ChristianPodcast #FaithOverFear #GodIsInControl #TrustGod #BibleTeaching #SoundDoctrine #ESV #TheologyMatters #ChristianLiving #GospelTruth #JesusIsLord #Providence #ChristianEncouragement #TruthMatters #BiblicalWorldview #ChristianContent

Theo Van And A New Story
What happens when someone who’s built their life on humor finally gets honest about where they really are? In this video, we take a look at a powerful moment from Theo Von this past weekend, where he opens up in a raw and vulnerable way and says he’s ready for a new story. This isn’t just another clip — it’s a window into something deeper that a lot of people feel but don’t always say out loud. We break down: What Theo really meant by wanting a “new story” Why so many people feel stuck in the same cycles The deeper spiritual reality behind transformation and change What it actually looks like to start over in a meaningful way If you’ve ever felt like you’re stuck in patterns you can’t shake… or like your life needs a reset… this conversation is for you. There is a new story available — but it doesn’t come from just trying harder. 👉 Make sure to like, subscribe, and share if this hits home. #TheoVon #Faith #Transformation #NewBeginnings #ChristianPerspective

The God Who Depends On No One
“Most people—even Christians—live like God needs something from them. Like He’s waiting on their obedience, their worship, their effort… to somehow complete Him. But the Bible presents a God who needs absolutely nothing. A God who is not served by human hands… because He Himself gives life and breath and everything. That doctrine is called aseity. And if you don’t understand it—you will build your entire Christian life on a man-centered foundation.” #doctrine #bible #music

How To Think About The Wicked FedEx Driver
In this video, we talk about the heartbreaking and evil case of the FedEx driver who kidnapped and murdered a 7-year-old girl—and how Christians are called to think about something this dark. This kind of tragedy stirs up anger, grief, and a desire for justice—and rightly so. Scripture is clear that God is not indifferent to evil. His wrath is real, and His justice is perfect. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men…” — Romans 1:18 (ESV) But at the same time, the gospel forces us to wrestle with something uncomfortable: even the worst sinners are not beyond the reach of God’s grace. Should we pray for justice? Absolutely. Should we long for evil to be judged? Yes. But should we also pray for repentance and salvation—even for someone like this? Scripture says yes. This video walks through how to hold both truths: God’s righteous wrath and God’s astonishing mercy. If you’ve ever struggled to understand how to respond to evil in a biblical way, this conversation matters. #fedex #kidnapping #texas

Does God Reveal Himself Outside of the Bible?
Can someone know God without ever opening a Bible What does creation actually reveal about Him and what does it not In this episode we break down the doctrine of general revelation how God makes Himself known through creation conscience and the world around us But here is the tension If creation reveals God why do people still reject Him We answer that question straight from Scripture and show why general revelation is enough to condemn but not enough to save #DoctrineMatters#GeneralRevelation#TheologyMatters#BiblicalTruth#ChristianPodcast#ReformedTheology#SolaScriptura#KnowGod#Romans1#Apologetics#BibleTeaching#ChristianLiving#FaithAndTruth#GospelTruth#ChristianContent

Paula White Compares Trump to Jesus!!
At a recent Easter event, pastor Paula White made headlines for comparing Donald Trump to Jesus drawing parallels between Trump’s legal struggles and Christ’s suffering, even connecting it to the resurrection. That raises a serious question: Have we blurred the line between Christ and culture? In this episode, we break it down biblically: Why comparing any political leader to Jesus is dangerous The uniqueness of Christ’s suffering and resurrection How modern Christianity can drift into idolatry What Scripture actually says about leaders, authority, and worship This isn’t about politics, it’s about protecting the glory of Christ. #trump #politics #faith #idol #false #truthmatters

If God Has Spoken Why Aren't We Listening: Revelation and the Bible
What if everything you believe about God is only possible because God chose to reveal Himself? In this episode of *Doctrine Matters*, we tackle one of the most foundational truths of Christianity: the Bible is the very Word of God. Not just inspired ideas. Not helpful guidance. But God speaking. If that’s true… then everything changes. We’ll walk through Scripture itself to answer: - Why we can trust the Bible - What it means that Scripture is “God-breathed” - How the Bible is both fully human and fully divine - Why ignoring Scripture is ultimately rejecting God Himself This isn’t just theology—it’s authority, obedience, and life. #christianity #christian #bible
