Sweet and sour memories
I really miss her podcast, my ex-wife is a nurse and her podcast reminded me of the conversations I would have with my ex when she was done working. Wonder if the doctor is OK? Does anybody know? I hope she can come back and give us some more podcast.

Appreciated
I journeyed down a podcast rabbit hole and discovered this podcast by accident. The episodes are brief enough that I listened to all 10 or so in a couple of hours. Interesting to listen and see how prophetic some of the doctor’s thoughts & concerns were about things. My wife and I have been happy to hear her voice over the major news network (my wife worked at same institution until a month ago).
Hopefully Dr. Choo will be able to have some time to eek out a podcast or 2 in regards to the vaccination rollout and vaccine in arms from her point of view. If not, thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns. Hope you and your family stay well.

Insightful, informative, brief
As a nurse working on a covid unit and at a call center, I appreciate being able to listen to this podcast on days off. It helps me feel heard and known in certain ways, easing some of the frustration of misinformation and lack of critical thinking that is problematic and prolonging this pandemic. The episodes are short and the perspective is one I value.

How did the ads for this podcast pre-date the actual pandemic
This headline is an exaggeration but ads for this podcast popped up before universities and anything started to close. Trying to over exaggerate the extent of the pandemic.

Good listen
Enjoy the front-line perspective and commentary. Thoughts and opinions good food for thoughts with no political bias.

Bias and Misleading
Misleading evidence with personal accounts. Not that they are inaccurate, simply unbeneficial for our society at this time. The political bias within this podcast is also astonishing for a podcast that claims to hit “the important issues”

Great front-line perspective on COVID-19
I really enjoy listening to the insight of this podcast. She discusses what the current situation is like as a doctor and she reflects on what is happening in hospitals and the world.
She doesn’t use a fear-mongering attitude and she never exaggerates a one-sides political opinion. It’s almost like she is reading her journal entry of the day.
Listeners don’t have to come from a medical background in order to enjoy this podcast. Really appreciate her explanations of what happens on the medical side.

Bombarded by ads for this
I’m not even sure of the target audience they are trying to find for this. Hearing the ad EVERY commercial break where she refers to the date as “Hell Date”isn’t gonna find many.

Advertising dollars?
How are you able to afford bombarding Radio.com with your stupid advertising twice per commercial segment? I hate your podcast strictly because of your ad. You may not be benefiting from the pandemic but it sure does seem like it. Ugh! Puke! Bard!

Social commentary
I’m a mid-career emergency physician, as well. I can relate! I appreciate Dr. Choo for bravely giving us a piece of herself. I just didn’t expect the social commentary on the slightly more controversial social topics. That is already everywhere on the news and internet. I guess was searching for something else. Peace. God bless you. Stay well. I’ll be in the trenches, too. :)

No agenda here
This frontline perspective is a good listen. The doctor has no agenda, just a small look at her perspective of the covid-19 pandemic. Good food for thought.

Calm head of reason and insight
I find the doctor’s unbiased and frank diary a calming and reassuring look into the pandemic. The thoughts are unfiltered and give a glimpse into our shared nightmare in a way the is both captivating, interesting and soothing. Thank you for this podcast, I really appreciate it and thank you for your service to our country.

Love her
And love that she talks about the emotional toll and not just the science.

Honest, vulnerable, brilliant
Dr Choo’s voice is powerful because it is raw and so human.
She speaks with at times heartbreaking compassion and also with deep wisdom from years of experience.
As a cardiologist I find it deeply comforting to hear so many of the swirl of emotions and questions in my own mind and heart verbalized so eloquently.
Thank you.

Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your story! I am in tears as I listen.. I’ve been reading these accounts on social media but hearing them first hand is even more heartbreaking. Stay strong!

Timely, fascinating, and moving
Dr. Choo gives us something here I think we desperately need — a first-hand look into the practical, and emotional, lives of our front-line caregivers during this dangerous time. A lot of what’s happening in hospitals seems very distant to most of us, and I’m afraid that’s going to change very quickly. She’s an excellent tour guide.
