Woah you guys. This is a big one. Harry Potter. It's a whole big thing. Books, movies, other books and movies, merchandise, fan clubs, many whole podcasts - so many things have come about as a result of the Boy Who Lived.  But no franchise is without its problems... and this one has some big ones.  Oh Survivor, our old friend. Once just a show beloved by Andrea, before Brigitta became an absolute Survivor junkie and the tables turned. Listen as we go over our favourite seasons, the differences between the American Survivor and Australian Survivor, and the beauty of Jeff Probst. Don’t worry, we’ve tried to keep this episode spoiler free, so if you want to become a Survivor addict like us you can! 

I mean, what would you do if you were stuck in a box for two weeks quarantining? Home renovation TV (not to be confused with Home Improvement starring Tim Allen) is just one of the addicting genres of reality television that just sucks you in. But does it for everyone? Listen as Brigitta lists the best of the best of the genre while Andrea enthusiastically listens because Brigitta really does know best. Would you dare to disagree?

Have you been doing some scrolling lately? Occupying those long pandemic days with a little bit of social media? Perhaps you fancy yourself as a bit of an up-and-coming influencer? Honestly, what on earth would we be doing without Instagram! IG, Insta, the Gram, the app that goes by many names is all about the visual and a great way to share what you are doing with family, friends, and random bots. But... Do we actually like it? Oh it definitely has flaws... and also so does everything? And what else would I do with my time without it? Listen along as Brigitta and Andrea dissect this immensely popular and often problematic app. After all, if it isn't on Instagram, did it even happen?

So full disclosure this episode is more about sports movies than sports, and half time shows than American football...but this is definitely our best effort in talking about sports. What makes a good sports movie? Which one is the best of all time? Who even is Tom Brady and why was he at a Beyonce concert?? Brigitta and Andrea dive deep into the world of sports!

Remember back in the years BCP (Before Coronavirus Pandemic) when you could just go places? Like you pack up all your cute holiday clothes grab some friends and head to Paris or Tokyo or the mountains or the beach (god forbid) and like do stuff your wouldn't do at home. Once upon a time this activity was called travelling, and Brigitta and Andrea used to do it all the time. Reminisce with them as they discuss the dos and don'ts of travel, where they dream of going to next, and the perils of being a vegetarian pretty much everywhere. Thoughts and prayers for all who dream of travelling - it's going to be a while.

It took about 36 years, but 2020 has finally come and gone. Maybe not quite the start to the Roaring 2020's we had imagined... Was there anything good that happened in 2020?! I mean obviously the answer is no, but we definitely watched a lot of TV. And by a lot, we mean a gargantuan amount. Listen as Brigitta and Andrea go through their favorite things they consumed to get through the year that should never have been, without a horrible chronology of 2020 events because no one needs that.  Also, like last year listen to Andrea's 2020 music playlist which this year mostly features music not from 2020.

 Merry Christmas one and all! But especially Sheridan! This is your Christmas gift from Anna, enjoy :) SO Jurassic Park. There are books, there are movies.. but is it actually any good? Listen as Brigitta and Andrea recount the story of a billionaire who got too big for his boots and decided cloning dinosaurs was somehow a good idea. Billionaires, am I right? Enjoy as they discuss the differences between the books and the movies, and also how humanity is evil and you don't need chaos theory to explain that Ian Malcolm, it is just good common sense. Oh and you will particularly enjoy how Brigitta tries to remember what Sheridan has previously told her about Jurassic Park, can't figure out which Jurassic Park she is talking about, and then forgets to mention that a T Rex gets out at the end of Jurassic Park II and reigns terror all over San Diego, and that doesn't happen in the book, and really after that happens it is pretty impossible to believe dinosaur cloning would ever we allowed again. Andrea also has no idea what is going on. But you know, other than that we covered pretty much everything...
