Are morning routines overrated?
Will replicating the morning routine of Oprah or Bill Gates will make you as successful as them? Will spending 3 hours every morning meditating, journaling, and working out make you the best entrepreneur on this planet? It's hard to think that changing something that we do every day would have such an impact on our productivity, but that's not what the media would like you to think. In this episode of the Do Video Podcast, Zoë discusses the global fixation on "Popcorn Like Hacking" our morning routines, to make us the most productive brand building robots ever. What you can do to actually stick to a morning routine plan, and myths the media neglects to mention. Message Overwhelm: Where to focus your words
What do you say when you have the opportunity to say whatever you like? That is what video and a focused video strategy gives you, but that opportunity can also be overwhelming. Where do I even begin? I have so much to say, can't I just say everything in one video? Short answer, no. Long answer, defiantly no. Step back and think about who you are even creating the videos for? Why should they care? Start with the basics and use the "distant relative" approach to content creation. If it's something that your distance aunty would ask, then that is what you answer in your next video. 😆Editor Zoë is taking the reigns today because my voice is hoarse 🐴🤢🤧 Mentioned Video:🤩 Your First Simple Video Strategy: https://youtu.be/azZ0KHOY5Vg 0:30 I'm in message overwhelm0:45 What is message overwhelm?1:15 Internet overwhelm and why your opinion matters3:25 I'm brought in because I am an expert4:15 #SponsorSpot4:50 Where you begin is not where you end up5:05 Breaking down your motivating factor5:30 Research to make sure your message is clear6:15 Have you been overloading your content?6:35 Focus on the basics, and why people should buy from you?7:15 "Distant relative" approach to content creation7:50 Opportunity to speak can be overwhelming8:45 It may be difficult to start with but doesn't mean it isn't rewarding in the end9:05 Do you feel like you have nothing to contribute?9:50 Do not use industry jargon10:30 Answer basic questions in a video instead of repeating face to face11:00 Break everything down until you have those few words that pack a punch11:30 If you are there right now, reach out to me See the rest of this episodes show notes using this link: --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/do-video-podcast/message

World Read Aloud Day: The Rise of Voice-based Social Media
Voice-based social media networks, podcasts, and audio-only platforms have been on the rise within the past 6 months and beyond. So should you focus your content strategy on that medium? We've seen how easily an exclusive app like clubhouse can fall to bullying, extremists, and abuse of all kinds, so is it even worth it?
