This year Pride was a very unique and special weekend where I saw all of the LGBT community and its allies come together and show everyone just what the meaning of #LoveWins is all about. No matter what event or venue the energy in the room and amongst the people was one of love!!! After returning back from Hong Kong the week leading up to Pride, I quickly began to help out the community by donating my time, equipment and some of my music library to DJ's and promoters around the city. This had me helping setup and take down every event, which brought me back to my days in NYC working in the Saint at Large office (Miss you SAL family!!!) I was so excited to be able to help and work with doppelgänger on their Seattle Debut for After-hours. This was the last event that was on during Seattle Pride this year starting at 2:00 am on Monday. I can honestly say I spent a lot of hours preparing music for the night, which it wasn't long into my set when I realized it was going to be an out of the blue type of night as the direction I planned and thought it would go was not going to happen. This set is unique and contains fresh new tracks, classic tracks, updated classics, house, vocal house, deep house, tech house, r&b, hip hop and a dash of uk funky that had all the children LIVING!! Well it's been a very busy few months for me doing a lot of behind the scene work, but I am still glowing and in awe at my recent European Debut at Munchën (Munich) hottest gay club NY.CLUB. Seems fitting considering I am a native New Yorker!! I take a lot of pride in this set as it is always nerve wrecking to debut on another continent, but that didn't stop me from shining. I haven't played a 5 hour set nor one til 6:30 in the morning for a long long time and boy was I overdue!!!
