Very fun podcast the host is very engaging

I love all things pop culture so this is perfect for me! Stumbled upon this on a walk and now I’m hooked. Absolutely love it.

So, I stumbled upon this podcast this past weekend when I was looking for girls next-door content., and let me tell you I cannot stop listening to it. I absolutely love pop culture. And let me tell you this is an amazing podcast. If you love pop culture/entertainment from probably the last 50 or so years you’re in for a treat for sure. Jill has a very relaxing voice, she’s very entertaining, has a great sense of humor, and is just overall great to listen to. Keep up the good work, Jill!! literally almost everything she’ll reference and ask if people remember it I remember it and I’m one of the only people I know that knows about it. Absolutely love this podcast.

I love this podcast. I feel like Jill is someone I would be talking to about celebrities. Her recent 2 part podcast about Britney and Kevin was perfection. I felt everything Jill said she felt about Britney. I look forward to when she posts. It always makes me smile.

I recently discovered this podcast and wish I had found it sooner. As a millennial who loves pop culture, I fully enjoy listening to these episodes. It always feels like I am entering into a time machine and going back to the 2000s. Keep them coming, this girl enjoys them so much!

Such well researched information about topics we all know, love and can’t wait to talk more about! It’s the most fun deep diving topics / people / situations that were popular when we were teenagers but now as an adult. So glad you’re back and thanks for all you do!!!!

As someone who was in deep on MTV and TLC in the early to mid 2000s this podcast gives me so much life. Love the host’s perspectives and that she is so real!

Only three episodes in, and I can already say Diving Bored Pod is easily my new favorite podcast to listen to! Jumping into a deep dive of some of the greatest moments in pop culture history, your host Jill packs each episode with juicy yet objective information on the subject matter, while sprinkling in some of her own witty commentary (and some of the WILDEST anecdotes I’ve been lucky enough to listen to!) You could easily binge through this series. I personally love listening to it when I exercise while I’m simultaneously gooping and gagging over all the scandalous details! Make sure to subscribe and tune into Diving Bored each week… we’re far from the shallow now!

Listen, I love the subject manner here as a nostalgia junkie. This is right up my alley. But I find myself listening and just being exhausted by the host. Her antidote are those of people that do not have any life experience. Just listening to her try to say because she had one experience at LAX for the hawk Tuah girl wasn’t being harassed is irrelevant to anything. I happen to be a public figure and harassment is real just because you don’t deal with it doesn’t mean it’s not still happening. You’re just not relevant . Your experience isn’t the end all be all and really you lack life experience. I want to keep listening, but can you please stop talking about yourself and inserting yourself into these topics. The listeners most likely aren’t here.

I absolutely love this podcast. There is sooo much research for every episode and it’s a great mix of nostalgia and teaching me about the true lore of all these topics! 10/10 recommend

This podcast makes me feel so relaxed and at home. I’m my teenage years I was a die hard Perez Hilton fan, but this deep dive podcast is so drastically the complete opposite of that… I love being able to just zone out and enjoy these little deep dives into celebrity lives like I used to. GIRL the way I gasped when I saw the notification pop up for the Diving Bored Podcast’s first ever interview!! This is the perfect first guest; this podcast is taking the world by storm. When Flav said “The one and ONLY, yo JIIIILLLLL!” I just know you felt like you had really made it in life. Jill is an absolute pleasure to listen to; I always chuckle out loud when she says anything along the lines of “we _____ here at the Diving Bored Podcast”. Listening truly feels like you’re just hanging out with your friend (who you’ve never met) and gossiping. If you’re obsessed with 2000s pop culture, this podcast will be everything you’ve ever needed.

As a preteen/teen in the early aughts, this show makes me so nostalgic. My only issue is that Jill came up with this idea to make a podcast about this before I could…ugh! ;)

Found this podcast via Reddit and I’m so happy I gave it a try! Every episode in depth and well researched. The host has a great voice and cadence in the way she speaks. I can’t wait to hear her opinions on the new Quiet on Set documentary.

First time listener; she has really interesting points and commentary but my biggest pet peeve with podcasters like he is she starts later on in the pod. The K v H celebrity feud started 15 min in a 90 minutes conversation, pick it up girlie!

I had reservations about listening to this podcast, because in the spring of 1999 Jill threw a partially eaten Crabapple at my car while I was driving down the highway. Just kidding! I love this podcast, I love the topics that are covered, and it’s honestly been super relaxing getting to listen. I was born in August of 1991 so as an early 90s August Leo I feel a connection to Jill…like, we’re low key besties and she doesn’t even know it. When I saw that somebody said you were approaching middle age, I took it very personally! The nerve. Always looking forward to new episodes! I’m feeling maybe a Tila Tequila deep dive is in order? Something that dives into the early MySpace days. Love you Jill! Keep up your incredible work.

Jill is an incredible host, she’s well informed, hilarious, and passionate about the 2000s. I can’t recommend this pod enough if you love pop culture!!

As someone who is roughly the same age as the host and was also obsessed with celebrity culture in the 2000s, I thought I would love this show! I’m still mildly interested in the topics she covers, but I can’t get over the host’s stunted obsession with celebrities. The way she gushes ad nauseam about the celebrities she covers is so uncomfortable for a woman pushing middle age. Again, we have similar backgrounds, and I keep trying to imagine what I would do if one of my peers are friends currently carried on like this. It’s so uncomfortable listening to her insert herself into the stories over and over. I wish she would come from more of an entertainment reporter angle! So while I do enjoy the topics she covers, I won’t continue listening.

An enjoyable and witty new podcast comes to the scene. That tackles topics you think you know the full story off but really don’t. I love how Jill takes it from the “Tip-pity top” and breaks down all things pop culture. Truly a blast from the past that is enjoyed with every new episode.

This podcast is a deep entertaining dive into the best moments of your millennial pop culture youth. Jill paints a perfect memory of 90s pop culture can’t-miss moments, where she gives all the intriciate details of the big event, that you've probably forgotten, but remember it being a big deal at that time. Back when cassette tapes and VCRs were a thing. Diving bored feels like your sitting with your friend, relieving the 2000s moments with a glass of wine. A must listen!

First of all, listening to Jill speak is simultaneously the most calming yet exciting thing ever. It is abundantly clear that Jill is well-informed on all topics of pop culture, but it’s her delivery that makes this podcast worth listening. She dispels all the deets in an approachable and relatable way. I am hooked on every single word for the entire hour+ that the episodes are, which I will say is definitely not the case for all podcasts I listen to (and as a commuter, that is a LOT of podcasts!). Genuinely adding this to the short list of top favorite podcasts, and I am excited for them to keep on comin’!

Diving Bored Podcast is so entertaining! Jill sprinkles her own hilarious personal stories into an hour of pop culture “remember when” and does it with such ease! It’s not only entertaining, but I’ve actually found out stuff I originally didn’t know about these pop culture moments! Who doesn’t love to go down memory lane?! Love this show!

This podcast is entertaining, wise, and completely necessary listening. I love hearing her perspective on so many pop culture pieces and I don’t know how she does it, but she says the best possible vocabulary for any given occasion. It’s a precision-hit every time. Always informative, creative, and diverse. It’s the highlight of my day.
