The state of New Hampshire is seen as a novice at diversity work, but a newly established council is looking to change that. This podcast will give voice to the members of the state's new Advisory Council on Diversity and Inclusion, as well as citizens who share their stories. New Hampshire's growing population and increasing diversity, as well as reported incidents of bias around the state, have made these conversations necessary. Issues of race, gender, disability, age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and more will be discussed. The council will host listening sessions around the state and ultimately present recommendations to the governor. Reporter Hadley Barndollar will be there to bring these stories to listeners.
