Justification By Our Faith Alone is Wrong pt 5
Samson Covatch will be challenging and denying the popular and historical understanding that someone is justified by their faith in Jesus Christ alone. In this six-part series, Michael Patton and Samson Covatch will examine the doctrine of Sola Fide (Faith Alone) to determine if Protestants utilize faith as a work. The doctrine will be deconstructed and evaluated to demonstrate familiarity with the history of the doctrine as well as to show that we have a good grasp of what is being articulated. The last two episodes will walk through a new paradigm for understanding the doctrine of justification. Samson will be advocating for adherence to the trilateral TPC view of justification (Theological, Paradigmatic, Canonic) or better said, a return to the Christological understanding of faith. www.credohouse.org www.thetheologypit.com
