Mike and Dave make Disney worth watching

So sad this podcast has ended 😭😭 its wonderful!

I think the reason why this is my favorite Disney podcast is that I’ve been watching classic Disney films on Disney plus recently the aristocats and other stuff so I was glad I got to listen to this podcast I really am gonna miss this though but I always go back and listen to my favorite episodes so I’m glad I listened to it it’s entertaining to me I give 5/5

As a Disney fan going through my own Disney Classics marathon, I’ve greatly enjoyed listening along with the podcast. Interesting history and excellent quality with fun sound bites makes this podcast a perfect addition for those watching the classics.

I came in late to the game with this podcast, but the resulting binge was worth every second. Reviewing all of the classic Disney animated movies from my life has taken me down a poignant road of nostalgia. Thank you Mike and David for giving me the gift of discovering new magic in movies I already cherished. You are the Walt to my Mickey!

Only 6 episodes in and Wow! My only regret is finding this podcast almost a year later 🙈. But you won’t regret giving this a listen. Disney fan or not, you might learn something. Personally I just want to hear people talk about Disney animation features, even if I know most of these facts. *I’m willing to be a guest 😁* I may not always share their views (I adore Fantasia and Pinocchio of the classic animation) but it’s enjoyable to listen to them discuss what works and what doesn’t as time has gone by. And in many cases, aged these films. Keep it coming!

Disney plays a big role in my love from the animated movies as a kid to all of the superhero and scifi movies now as an adult! Great to hear tidbits of information on the animated movies from such knowledgable hosts. Thanks Mike and David! PS: can’t wait for The Atlantis episode!!

I was browsing Instagram a week and a half ago, when I stumbled across a sponsored post for this podcast. Curious, I searched for them, and decided I’d give the first two episodes a try, and see what I thought. I was hooked! I’m currently binge-listening the past episodes on my way to and from work (I’m on Lady and the Tramp, right now). I may not always agree with Mike and Dave’s views on the films (I’m a bit of a Fantasia nut!) but it’s always fun to get their perspective on them!

Started a family project to watch all the films in order and are now listening to the show after each movie. Really enjoy the commentary.

Fun, great background on the movies, excellent production, love the sound clips, and guests are great!!

I so look forward to listening to this podcast every week. The hosts are so knowledgeable and fun! Consider doing the Pixar movies when you finish animated feature films!

Enjoying this fun podcast and catching up on all the episodes! Well produced and I love the commentary and guests. I’m a gigantic, huge, major Disney fan....and I may have almost all these movies. Love the connections to the parks. Mike and I have a lot in common! It’s so interesting to hear how Disney has been a part of everyone’s lives- a sure connector. My favorite episode so far - Sleeping Beauty. Every scene IS a picture and yea why do those fairies have all those rules!? 😉 - the connection to the “eagles” from Return of the King made me lol. What a great show. The hosts and their guests revoke strong emotions and memories from the past with their lighthearted analysis and banter. I only hope they get past their list so that they get to analyze Pixar too!

I am really enjoying this podcast! The 60 second summaries are great. The sound clips are placed perfectly. The interaction between the commentators is fun. The nostalgia factor is high, which I love. It makes me want to watch all these movies either for the first time or again. Great job!

I listen to a lot of serious podcasts, so this podcast is a breath of fresh air. I love the nostalgic, fun tone of each episode. The music and sound bites Mike chooses from the movies really bring it to life, and I always get a kick out of David’s fun facts and the guys’ banter and humor. Excellent start to a new podast right off the top, great work! This keeps your attention with fun stories, facts, and of course the shared nostalgia of the classics. It's very easy to listen to.

Love reminiscing with these guys and remembering why these Disney films are such classics. Great job, funny and informative. Really loved the Bambi episode. Jeremy was hilarious and added a lot of laughs and different insight. Great job guys! Can’t wait for more.

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and for a show that discusses movies, this one has incredible sound design and editing. They do a great job getting the examples and the commentary to mingle well together. Hosts are engaging and it’s a great idea for a show.

The scope of this show is broad: from technical discussions to sentimentality to fun facts-this show pleases. Upbeat and entertaining from start to finish.

All the little things make this podcast great...the 60-second recap, sound bites from the movie or old news clips...those details make listening to this an experience rather than an information dump. I haven’t seen many of these early ones and I’m excited to join in the journey!

Lots of other podcasts like this out there and none are even close to the quality of this one. A fun, worthwhile use of time. Give it a listen!
