Back in October 2016, when life was innocent and before Trump became president, I visited Dublin and met one of the hosts of this podcast. I think it was Shane. It might’ve been Johnny. Sorry, I’m not sure, but he was really nice to meet and enjoy a pint with me. Nice lad. Randomly came across this podcast and I’m quickly falling in love with it! I will forever use the “Kanye/Jeffree Star” rating system starting with this review 😂 ...but then again, I may just be listening to hear the hosts say words like “thirty” in their Irish accents... either way, I’m listening! 👍🏻

These guys have the perfect style of banter you only find every so often in a comedy podcast. They go through a movie (or game) with a disaster scenario and scene by scene say what they would do or how to actually survive all while coming up with hilarious scenarios to put them selves in. If I had one complaint at all it would be the consistency of uploading. Even with that I still give a 5 star because they can’t just do this show yet and they both have lives outside of podcasting and they said they were trying to get better so I’ll take the word for it.

Two guys having an interesting chat about how to survive a movie disaster situation. Just the right tone, no overly aggressive or self important know it alls trying to hog the conversation. Real people for real listeners. Thank you and keep it up.

Found Johnny & Shane by listening to Those Conspiracy Guys and now I’m a fan. Your podcast is keeping me sane while being “quarantined” in CA. The whole BayArea is going crazy with “Martial Law” soon in effect. (Smh absolutely ridiculous). You guys are amazing & keep these episodes coming!!!

Always humorous, endlessly irreverent, and of of the best and sometimes most insightful podcasts. These two (and guests) provide everything you are looking for in a multi faceted podcast. If you have a favorite movie, tv show, comic book, actor, activity or irish snack cake they have probably hilariously covered it. Or maybe....just maybe... you are a Skeet Ulrich fan? This is the podcast for you!

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Extreamly entertaining. If you like your survival with a touch of Irish humor then this is the show for you! Shane and Johnny play off each other very well. The tangets they go off on are the best and funniest part. I found this when Johnny was a guest on another podcast "Those Conspiracy Guys"(another Great Podcast with Irish humor) and got hooked on it right away. Thanks Guys.

Came here by way of another podcast. Glad I gave it a shot. The discussions are organic, yet informative and detailed. They feed off each other well. It’s an easy and enjoyable listen. They know their stuff and don’t pretend they know more than necessary.

Love the banter and comedy on this show, glad I have plent of episodes to catch up on. (Also if y’all are are looking for a new topic, the new AMC show “The Terror” would be perfect for this show

Edit: I’m almost all caught up to current, and I gotta say I hope you guys can start using FaceTime or a webcam to get back into a biweekly/monthly routine. Started listening to you guys from the beginning a few months ago. It’s hard to explain how much I enjoy this podcast. You guys are like my friends that I’ve never met, talking about movies and stories that I enjoy and how to survive them. Many times I’ve never heard of a movie/book and I enjoy the way you guys explain it. And I’ve always loved my Irish background so fun to listen to your accents. I also completely understand how Shane feels about reading because I’m the same way (but I recently started reading ready player one and it’s pretty sweet) Keep up the good work guys!

These guys are the perfect mix between nerds and lovable blokes. The podcast makes me feel like I'm right there with them, and like I'm part of the conversation. I was drawn in by the Black Mirror episode and am now slowly making my way through the back catalogue. It's an amazing podcast and I can't wait for the new episode!

Good pace, lots of interesting discussions. The hosts have great chemistry and keep the podcast moving without it feeling rushed. It's a fun listen, less dire/serious than the subject matter might make it sound.

I really enjoy these guys. They are both funny and knowledgeable for all things in the post apocalyptic genre. If you enjoy apocalyptic movies and games you should check it out.

It’s one of the better podcasts in the pepper/survival/apocalypso genre. It’s funny too. It took some getting used to the Irish accents (just kidding guys), but well worth it. I hope the guys stick to it. I’ll keep downloading and listening.

This is a really neat podcast for fans of apocalyptic and postapocalyptic books and movies, and history as well when it comes to topics like the Donner Party. The hosts have great senses of humor but can also deal with topics and questions seriously and really delve into the details of these topics. Awesome job!
