Dinner with Save the Pine Bush
Save the Pine Bush's volunteers worked for decades to preserve the Albany, New York, Pine Bush through the use of litigation and education. The Albany Pine Bush is globally rare pine barrens ecosystem and home many rare species, including the endangered Karner Blue Butterfly. Save the Pine Bush has sustained itself for forty years by inviting everyone to join them for monthly vegetarian lasagna dinners. Each dinner features a speaker on the Pine Bush or other environmental issue, including climate change, solid waste issues, or other important topics. If you cannot make it to the delicious dinner, you are welcome to hear the speakers on the podcast!
