How God Desires To Be Met
In this week’s episode, Brian highlights how, after 400 years in a foreign land—much of that time in slavery—God begins teaching the Israelites how to live in right relationship with Him and in proper community with one another. He then explores how the detailed instructions found in these chapters reveal God’s intentional and ordered nature—the same care seen in creation—and how this reminds us that God is deeply aware of and involved in our lives. Finally, Brian challenges us to consider how we approach meeting with God: do we come to Him on our own terms, or do we seek Him according to the way He has invited us to come?Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Am I aware of God's hand at work in my life?2. Do these chapters stir up gratitude and thankfulness in me for all that Jesus has accomplished?3. Is my reading of scripture leading me into a deeper intimacy with God?We pray this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in your faith.

What is God doing in your life that you need to trust Him with more fully?2. What adjustments might you need to make to see more clearly what God is doing?3. Two Men - Two Hearts
In this episode, Teddy contrasts two men—two leaders on two very different journeys—who stood in the same moment of history, witnessed the same power of God, and yet responded in completely different ways.He explores Moses’ path to greatness, showing how God meets him in the wilderness—in weakness and humility—and leads him into his true identity and a deeper trust in who God is.In contrast, Teddy examines Pharaoh, a ruler in the palace, regarded as a god himself—surrounded by pride, power, and unlimited resources. Yet even Pharaoh is confronted by the One true God and given the opportunity to bow. Finally, Teddy brings it home: when God reveals Himself to us, we too must choose how we will respond. Will we respond like Moses—or like Pharaoh?Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. How is God revealing Himself to you?2. How are you responding?3. How can I help others respond to God’s revelation and move in their identity? We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in faith.

Living From The Love Of God
In this episode, Simon highlights how everything Jesus does flows from being deeply loved by and connected to the Father—and from knowing who He is.He explains that repentance begins with a renewed vision: changing how we see God, understanding how He sees us, and allowing that truth to reshape how we see ourselves. When those things change, the way we live naturally follows. Finally, Simon reminds us that the deeper question isn’t, “Am I obeying enough?” or “Am I doing this right?” but rather, “Am I living from the truth that I am deeply loved by the King?”Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. When I picture Jesus kneeling to wash feet, what does that reveal about how God sees me - and do I truly believe I am loved like that? 2. Where in my life am I still striving, proving, protecting, or promoting myself instead of resting in my identity as a loved son or daughter? 3. If following Jesus cost me comfort, reputation, or security right now, would I trust His love enough to keep walking with Him? We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in faith.

Light And Life
In this week’s episode, Tony highlights the themes of light and life that run throughout John’s Gospel, showing how coming into the light and believing in Jesus is our entry into the Kingdom of Heaven here and now.He reflects on several of Jesus’ encounters, illustrating how Jesus reveals God’s great love for us and reminds us of who we are—and how believing that truth brings freedom and life.Tony then examines Jesus’ question to the paralyzed man: “Do you want to be healed?” He challenges us to consider why we sometimes stay in sin and darkness, and invites us to reflect honestly: if there is sin or darkness in our lives, do we truly want to be healed?Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Do I really believe I am loved and accepted by God? If not, why not?2. Am I allowing any sin and darkness to live inside me? Do I want to be healed?3. Have I invited Jesus to explore the deep recesses of my heart to expose that sin? Am I willing to bring it to Jesus for freedom and life?We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in faith.

Empathy And Forgiveness
In this week’s episode, Brian explores how Joseph tested his brothers—not to punish them, but to awaken empathy. That empathy became the pathway to repentance, forgiveness, redemption, and ultimately reconciliation.Brian then examines how resentment shapes the way we see others. Left unchecked, resentment can grow into hatred and eventually indifference—an outlook that stands in stark contrast to the way Jesus lived and to the values of the Kingdom of God.He challenges us to examine our own lives, asking whether we harbor resentment toward any person or group, and whether a lack of empathy has taken root. Brian invites us to bring these areas honestly before the Lord, allowing Him to transform our thinking and lead us into the process of forgiveness.Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Is there a person or people group I currently struggle with and lack empathy toward?2. In what ways can I intentionally grow in empathy for that person or group?3. How does Jesus see that person or people group, and how would He treat them?We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in faith.

The Now And The Not Yet
In this week’s episode, Teddy explores the life of Joseph and what it means to live faithfully when God has spoken—but hasn’t finished His work.Teddy highlights how God gave Joseph a dream without a timeline, calling him to trust God today while waiting for tomorrow.Joseph’s confidence in God’s promises led him to be faithful where he was, not just where he was going. That faithfulness in the now is what shaped him for the not yet. Finally, Teddy reminds us that the same God who was with Joseph in the pit and the prison was also with him in the palace—and He is with us too.Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Where am I right now—living in the promise, or still in the waiting?2. How am I showing up in this season?Am I remaining faithful where God has placed me?3. Do I truly believe God is working all things for my good?Am I trusting Him—and His plan—even when I can’t see it?We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you.

The Lord Is In This Place
In this week’s episode, Simon explores the story of Jacob—a man in process and whose life is marked by struggle, fear, manipulation, broken relationships, and long seasons of waiting.Simon then highlights how God shows up in unexpected ways, allowing Jacob to experience His presence and provision in the midst of fear, insecurity, and moments of deep loneliness. The episode also examines how Jacob the deceiver is himself deceived, yet God’s faithfulness remains. As Jacob wrestles with God, he receives a new name, marking a turning point in his story.Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Looking back, where might God have been present during a time you felt alone or unaware of Him? How does recognizing that change the way you remember that moment?2. In a sport—and a world—that values control and toughness, how difficult is it for you to be honest with God about fear, doubt, or frustration?3. If God gave you a new name today, what false identity might He be asking you to let go of?We hope this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper reflection questions both challenge and encourage you.

Walk By Faith
In this week’s episode, Mickey highlights the faith of Abraham and how he obediently walked with God into uncertainty. Abraham trusted God’s promises, and his faith was counted to him as righteousness.Mickey then examines how Abraham had to persevere and grow in faith, trust, and belief while waiting on God’s promises to be fulfilled—much like we are often called to do today. The episode also explores Abraham’s faith journey and wholehearted belief in God’s promises, which ultimately brought him to the place where he was willing to sacrifice Isaac. Finally, Mickey encourages us to walk by faith in our own lives and to engage in honest, open conversations with God as we seek His guidance and listen for His response.Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:1. Is there a promise, hope, or expectation you are waiting in faith for the Lord to provide?2. Are you tempted, like Abraham, to take matters into your own hands to make it happen?3. Have you honestly communicated what is on your heart to God—and taken time to listen for His response? We hope this week’s readings, podcast, and Digging Deeper questions challenge and encourage you.
