A lot of fun

Actual play podcasts of TTRPGs are becoming more and more common, and it can be difficult to find one which is of high quality, consistently produced, with good players, and a good story. Dice Before Dishonor, a podcast of Paizo's War for the Crown adventure path for the Pathfinder rules, not only checks all those boxes, but it goes over the list and constantly improves on things. As of this writing, the first season has concluded. In an interesting move, the first season focused on a series of Pathfinder scenarios meant to lead into the Adventure Path. During these episodes, the podcast made significant changes to audio quality, as well as editing. It's actually a rare thing to see a podcast make such dramatic changes on the fly during it's first batch of episodes. If there is anything that still needs to be done, it would be adding a summary of the previous episode to the cold open. Overall, this is a great actual play which deserves your time. It releases consistently. It maintains a manageable runtime. And the players do a good job transitioning from in character moments to making observations as a player.
