Very important podcast for everybody, but particularly for Jewish people who have been spoon fed Zionism from a young age. This perspective needs to be amplified.

For those saying that the summary/bio does not match the content in the episodes clearly didn’t give it a real chance, and hence did not understand the point and key learnings behind each segment. This IS about the Jewish diaspora as much as it is about the Palestinian diaspora. It is about empowering Jewish people to break free from false political ideologies that are forced down their throats since birth. Especially American Jews, as explained by the hosts. It is to understand how and why anti-Zionism is NOT the same thing as anti-semitism. And Zionism has nothing to do with Judaism as a religion. It is to ‘unlearn’ so many concepts that we so blindly defend (just because), and to learn much more logical insights and jaw-dropping concepts leading to the ultimate truth. It is to realize how and why avid Zionism supporters are just ‘pons’, used and brought up as such in order to collectively legitimize a literal genocide and make it out to be some glorious achievement. Please keep an open mind while listening to all episodes. You may be surprised at how much you happen to be extremely ‘unaware of’. And a huge THANK YOU to the creators/hosts for putting together such carefully explained and refreshingly honest material. Looking forward to the next season.

Agh. Grow up. This is important and your immature identity politics is showing. WHILE you are talking about how dangerous it is!! I relate to the problem of being lied to by my family and Jewish community (about how Jewishness IS eretz yisrael). I wanted to love this podcast....

I really related to the hosts’ and interviewees' stories of being raised with Zionism as if that’s what it means to be Jewish. Diaspora is off to a great start with a conversation that needs to happen.

What a treat to hear the voices and backstories of Jews thinking deeply about racism and the constant call to look toward Israel! These stories would never be told by any of the (white, conservative) Jewish groups who claim to “represent” us, from the ADL to the ZOA. Love that podcasting lets them blow right past the gatekeepers, at last. Thank you!

I have followed JVP for over 5 years and have all the respect for their message of compassion and peace for all. If you ever wondered what Zionism is and its relationship not only with the Jewish people but also with the American politics as a whole, then make sure to listen in. I am one that learned a great deal from them. They, for a change, tell the truth about Israel and its history.

We’re in capable hands with JVP when it comes to discussing the intricacies and nuances of Zionism. This podcast is long past due and in my house we can’t wait to listen and share with everyone we know!
