“Take Baby Steps” is a common “motivational command” but when we use it we mean we should take small and unsure steps. But babies take small and unsure yet totally bold steps. Sometimes it feels like our knowledge as adults makes us more scared than bold, if a baby had seen Jesus get out of the boat and walk on water, the Baby would have done that too, and he/she won’t have started sinking or drowning… Peter’s knowledge of what the water can do made him start drowning… Yes knowledge is good, but this is to remind you to trust God more than your knowledge…

If you were born in an “average” family like mine, but you’ve tasted a lirru of poverty here and there, (or more a lirru sha) maybe because of mismanagement or debt or anything, we mostly grow up with a hustle mindset (most of us sha), I remember that I always say, “this money, I’ll make it, it’ll be clean, but I’ll never be poor” and I’ve honestly lived that life.
