Thank God For His Patient Love
(I Timothy 1:15-17) So many times I wonder and ponder on God’s faithfulness. His goodness , His love for me that makes Him not to give up on me; and still is not giving up on me. Apostle Paul was full of praise to God in I Timothy 1:15-17. He mentioned how God was so king to him and showed how completely patient he was to him despite how bad he was. “Here is a true message that everyone should believe: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save people who do wrong things.’ I am the worst of people like that! But, because I was so bad, God was kind to me. Then Christ Jesus could show how completely patient he was with such a bad person as me. That would be an example to those people who would later believe in him and receive life for ever with God. Praise God, the King who rules for ever! He can never die. He lives where we cannot see him. He is the only God. So, everyone should praise him and say how great he is! That is true always and for ever! Amen! This is true.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:15-17‬ ‭EASY‬‬ Praise Him for His mercy that does not give you what you deserve Praise Him for His grace that gives you what you do not deserve. So, Father I praise You once again today for who You are to me; for how You show and show Your love on me. Thank You for Your embrace of love over our lives that brought about salvation, right-standing with You, the blessing from above. Father I thank You, for great is Your faithfulness. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Christ In You Is Heaven On Earth
(Galatians 2:2; Colossians 2:17; Galatians 4:19) “…Christ in you; the hope of glory” Apostle Paul also said in Galatians 2:2 “Christ lives in me” Halleluyah! Do you believe with your heart that Jesus laid his life for you? Do you confess Him as your Lord and Saviour? Then Jesus lives in you because you identify with His death and resurrection. Listen to what Apostle Paul said- “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” So, how can we truly experience and enjoy heaven, while we are here on earth? We need to allow Christ to be formed in us. “My children, with whom I travail again in birth until Christ is formed in you.” Galatians 4:19. Christ lives in us. However, He wants to be formed in us in a definite way by growing in us. Every single day, we need to allow Him to grow and be formed in us. As we do, Christ will be able to express Himself more fully through us in our daily lives and we will truly experience heaven on earth in every circumstance we face. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Pray For Your Children
(I Chronicle 28; 29:19; II Corinthians 3:16) I hope today’s podcast meets you well dear divinely blessed and highly favoured family, friends and listeners. I'm inviting you to join me today as we pray for our children and loved ones. Also pray for your neighbours’ children. You never can tell, your prayer could determine their destiny, and those that are connected to them. In I Chronicles 28-29, as king David mentioned, he desired to build a beautiful temple for God. However, God said he was not to build it. So, he made all preparations, in all types of resources- man and materials, towards the building and completion of the temple so that when Solomon steps in his shoes as king, he would build it. We all know that we are free-will being. We all have our will and God will not force His will on us. Above all, after making all the preparation s, king David also committed his son’s heart to God. The only one who can truly help Him. So he prayed in I Chronicles 29:19. “and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.” ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭29:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Let us pray So today, I pray as king David prayed- Lord give my children strong desire to serve you. Help them always to obey your commands, laws and rules. Help them to build on the principles and foundation of God’s Word prepared and laid for them by living lifestyles based on the standard of the Cross. I pray you will give our children strong desire to serve you. I decree and declare that my children have uncluttered and focused heart to obey Your will. I decree and declare that my children will live by Your direction. They will be completely committed to Your will in Jesus’ name. I decree and declare that that Your Word will continue to be the standard they live by and as Your Word says in I Corinth 3:16. They will continue to honour their body as the temple which You dwell. They will live their lives- spirit, soul and body to honour You in Jesus’ name. Amen. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Be Intentional To Live Life That Brings Credit And Honour To God’s Word.
(Titus 1:5; Titus 2:2-5) The life we life can either bring glory or blasphemy to God’s Word. How does the Word of God gets blasphemed, discredited, dishonoured or ridiculed? When we live our lives contrary to the way God desires, designed and planned. Apostle Paul mentored Titus, from his letter in Titus 1:5; to set things in order by admonishing the Church leaders to live Godly lives. The truth is that we are all called to maturity. We are all called to live disciplined lives full of dignity and self-control. We are all called to live lives of solid faith, generous love, and patient endurance; living lives free from gossip and drunkenness and to be teachers of beautiful things. When we are all committed to living by the standard of God, we will be empowered to teach younger people to love their own family, to love their children, and to be self-controlled and pure, taking care of their household and being devoted to their own. This ultimately leads to God’s Word being honoured in, and through our lives. ‭‭ Remember, be intentional to live life that will bring honour to God and His Word. “The reason I stationed you in Crete was so that you could set things in order and complete what was left unfinished, and to raise up and appoint church elders in every city, just as I had instructed you.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “Lead the male elders into disciplined lives full of dignity and self-control. Urge them to have a solid faith, generous love, and patient endurance. Likewise with the female elders, lead them into lives free from gossip and drunkenness and to be teachers of beautiful things. This will enable them to teach the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, and to be self-controlled and pure, taking care of their household and being devoted to their husbands. By doing these things the word of God will not be discredited.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:2-5‬ ‭TPT‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1849/tit.2.2-5.TPT --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Sharpen Your Skills To Make God Famous
Sharpen Your Axe Are you tired of being stuck in a position? Are you complaining about how tasking or laborious your current job is? Have you considered horning your skills so that you can increase your value and also find it easier to move up your career or business ladder? Ecclesiastes chapter 10:10 (AMP) says “If the axe is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength; but wisdom [to sharpen the axe] helps him succeed [with less effort].” ‭ Wisdom is profitable to direct. Remember, as a believer, you have the upper hand because Jesus -the Wisdom of God lives in you and He is willing to guide you by His Spirit in order to remain valuable and influential in your field to the honour of God’s praise. Remember, sharpen your axe to make God famous. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

The blessings Of Honouring God
(Psalms 111:10) In my last podcast, I focused on how wisdom begins when we prioritise honouring and obeying God above any other thing. Taking us further today, from Psalms 25:12-14, we will lay emphasis on the benefits of honouring God. Verse 12: “Who is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose. (Guidance) His soul will dwell in prosperity and goodness, And his descendants will inherit the land. (He and his children will live good Iives) The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning.” (Receives revelation of God’s promises) I pray that we will be intentional about honouring God in our thoughts and decisions in Jesus’ name. Amen. ‭‭ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Wisdom Begins With Honouring God
(Psalms 111:10; Job 28:28) The desire to live good life is inborn in every human. It is natural to be eager and passionate to want to live good life. Good life begins with honouring God, reverencing Him and obeying His will. Psalms 111:10 “If you want to live in a wise way, respect and obey the Lord. Everyone who lives in the way that he teaches will understand what is right. People should praise the Lord for ever!” Job 28:28 “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.” ‭‭Job‬ ‭28:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Remember, wisdom begins with honouring God. Let’s pray Thank You Lord for Your Word that is the lamp to our feet and light to our path. Thank You for Your Spirt that sheds light into our mind. By Your grace, we are intentional to honour You so we can live wisely as you planned for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Wisdom Is Thinking Right
(Psalms 107:43) Wisdom is thinking right. Psalms 107:43 says “Wise people should think about these things. They should understand the Lord's special love for his people.” ‭‭ What are “these things” in the context of this psalms chapter of praise? What should wise people think about? Psalms 107:1-7 talked about God’s works of deliverance of the redeemed from want. 8-14 because God delivered prisoners from chains and darkness. 15-20 God’s work of deliverance of fools from sickness 21-30- God’s works of deliverance of sailors from storm 31-42 God’s works of providence to rich and poor And finally, the last verse- verse 43 says “Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.” ‭‭ Remember, wisdom is thinking right. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Wisdom Guides
(James 1:5) You don’t like Take-Away do you? Student: I do. The moment he said “I Do”, I realised he was thinking about “Jollof take-away”. We see things from different perspective and wisdom is needed in such situations to know when to respond or quiet. James 1:5 says “If...you lacks wisdom [to guide ...you through a decision or circumstance], ...ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given...” ‭‭ The wisdom of God will guide and lead you every inch of the way when we totally depend on Him. Faithful for is He that promised you His Word. He will bring it to fulfilment. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

Wisdom Makes You Happy, Calm And Bold
(Ecclesiastes 8:1) There is something about the wisdom of God that makes you happy, calm and bold. There is a way you will just know and know, you will perceive and have the capacity to make timely decisions because you are aware of the wisdom of God resident on the inside of you. Listen to these scriptural verses “No one can understand and explain things the way wise people can. Their wisdom makes them happy. It changes a sad face into a happy one.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭8:1 ERV “There’s nothing better than being wise, Knowing how to interpret the meaning of life. Wisdom puts light in the eyes, And gives gentleness to words and manners.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Seeking and having wisdom makes one happy, calm and bold. Let us pray Father, that You for Your Word Help us to always seek after Your wisdom so we can always be earthly relevant as we are heaven-bound, in Jesus’ name.
