Destroy All Children
Destroy All Children
Larry Davis & George Brundle
Larry Davis and George Brundle discuss the week in pop culture, but mostly they just talk about video games, gremlins, and Star Track.
12/10/2020 - George Brundle's Cry for Help [READ EPISODE DESCRIPTION]
NOTE: My audio is fucked on this ep, sorry. On the one week I didn't do an audio check, it decided to record from my wireless headset mic, which sucks, instead of my real one. So I sound like I'm underwater this week, but George is fine, and most of this episode is devoted to his particular brand of psychosis anyway. So yeah, George bought Sonic Forces. Dumbass. And we head back into the Gabagool Zone to talk about The Godfather Part II. Other than that, there's the death of movie theaters, Cyber-Seizures, and in Retro Corner we get to reminisce about that joyful pink puffball of destruction, Kirby. Theme song by David Cassel Outro music - "Help!" by The Beatles

12/3/2020 - Pachinko Teaser
This week's episode includes: Nintendo's continuing shittiness, SNK going the way of Jamal Khashoggi, Star War Squadrons, the Xbox being able to play more PS2 games than the PS5, and... Jesus Christ... George watched the motherfucking Sonic movie. God dammit. I mean, look, it was only a matter of time. I knew it would happen eventually, he said he wouldn't see it, but he wasn't fooling anybody. He's a fucking Sonic freak. Here's some Insider Information about George Brundle: He's been telling me lately that he wants to buy Sonic Forces. You know, just to have it. He is adamant that he WILL NOT spend more than 10 dollars on it, which is still way too much, but I have a feeling eventually he'll break down and get it for more than that. He has a problem.  Anyway, Retro Corner is about Mega Man X5 and 6.  Theme song by David Cassel Outro music: "(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes" by Elvis Costello

11/19/2020 - So the World Might Be Mended
The PS5 is here, and we're here to talk about it. The good and the bad. And, unfortunately, I have a lot of bad to talk about... But it has Demon's Souls! And Miles Morales! Those are good! Just, uh... Don't try to run anything off of an external drive. And don't try to copy games over because it's a waste of time and you'll have to reinstall them anyway. And also don't put your console into rest mode. But as long as you avoid all of that you should be fine. Theme song by David Cassel Outro music: "Brick House" by The Commodores

11/12/2020 - Live From the Xbox Vapor Chamber
I have in my possession an Xbox Series X! It seems pretty good so far, apart from an apparently faulty disc drive, but hey, whaddya gonna do. At least I have it... Anyway, after Xbox Chat, in Retro Corner we look at two of the finest games ever made: Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Hell yes.  Theme song by David Cassel

11/5/2020 - Jo Jorgensen's Bizarre Adventure
This week: the FINAL update on 13 Sentinels, thoughts about Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Cyberpunk's newest delay, and the Watch Dogs hack. After that, Retro Corner is about ?uest 64 and Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber. Normal stuff. Games for cool dudes. We're cool. Both of us are cool. Please tell us we're cool. We've always been cool.  The Mystery of the Druids review mentioned, it's seriously worth watching: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PUCSyIkEus Theme song by David Cassel Outro music: "Ogre Battle" by Queen

10/29/2020 - DieHard Is Back | 2:00 Film
DIE HARD IS BACK!!! (Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rn_ploeEK4 ) Anyway, after some continuing discussion of 13 Sentinels, which I have now completed and am much more positive on than I was at the time of recording, this episode is allllllll about Castlevania. A whole lot of Castlevanias. Way more than I expected, to be honest. Bless anyone who makes it through this entire thing. This episode is also about Borat. Theme song by David Cassel

10/22/2020 - There's Life Underground
This week: more 13 Sentinels talk, the INCREDIBLE success of Sonic the Hedgehog at the box office, and other random crap because there wasn't any notable news this week. In Retro Corner, we discuss Ecco the Dolphin, Super Ghouls N Ghosts, and Splatterhouse. Also Voyage of the Mimi and The Lawnmower Man, for some reason. NOTE: I thought Pierce Brosnan had cybersex in that movie when it was, in fact, Jeff Fahey. So don't email me about that blunder. 10/15/2020 - Roll That Beautiful Sean Bean Footage
Not much news this week (apart from the PS5 teardown) so we talk about Spyro the Dragon, Call o' Duty, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. In this week's Retro Corner, George enlightens us on the spookifying thrill-rides known as Silent Hill 1 and 2. That's it, that's what's in this episode. What else do you want from me? Why are you even reading this? Freak. Theme song by David Cassel

10/8/2020 - O'Brien Must Be Inconvenienced
After a week off, we have a lot of important topics to talk about, such as: The XSX's storage costs and backwards compatibility performance, Yakuza 7's bizarre situation, the release of Super Mario 35, and, for some reason, a whole bunch of Star Track bullshit. In the Retro Corner, we have Tomb Raider and Dino Crisis 1 & 2. So you have that to look forward to.  Theme song by David Cassel Outro music: "Boss of Me" by David Bowie
