Design Together
Design Together
Abby Guido
Design Together was created to provide a space to explore design collaboration. With the influx of design thinking methods, and the desire of many designers to embrace a human-centered approach to design, there is a need to understand how creatives work together. Collaboration happens both internally and externally, and each situation calls for a unique set of skills that we discuss and share strategies on how to approach each new challenge. Our guests share their expertise, successes, and failures, all in an effort to educate our audience on the nuances of how to improve the way we work together. We talk with industry leaders to hear how they facilitate collaborations, with mid-level designers to hear what skills they have developed to improve their team-based work, and with educators to share how these skills are being explored in academia.
