Deprivation Discourse is a podcast based in the North of England all about empowering marginalised voices by discussing poverty. Laidlaw scholar and student researcher Elif Emma True discusses the importance of feminism, community networks and health in the ending of poverty while having uplifting and important conversations with young people, professors, police officers, food banks and community leaders about what poverty means to them.
