Natalie and Ross manage to be both entertaining AND insightful! A favorite listen on my morning commute

As someone who has been working in a professional setting for 20+ years I love hearing your funny takes on things and stories. I love hearing them and wish there were more shows like this!

Started out strong but it feels like they’ve run out of ideas? Both are hilarious people, but they’re having guests on more often and those episodes are never as funny. Got big stuff going on in their lives so the pod is (understandably) taking a backseat

I found out about you though Vic (love her) and have been a loyal moterhead ever since. You are both so funny and insightful, I look forward to listening every week. I’ve been following Dr. Emily Anhalt for years now so when I saw that she’d be a guest on Demoted I added it to the list. Not only was Dr. Emily’s episode amazing {seriously give it a listen} but the whole podcast is awsome and I’ll be listening in every week!!!

Only listened to the 2 recent episodes with Natalie/Annie and Natalie/Victoria. The vocal fry on Natalie was distracting. Never noticed it before on her IG. And I totally get Annie is Natalie’s employee but I feel like she mentioned it 100 times in the 2 episodes. I don’t know who it rubbed me the wrong way. It’s not a typical boss/employee relationship so it almost seems insulting to Annie. Also. Natalie needs to calm down with the sponsored ads on IG. It’s too much.

Hosts make a lot of distracting and odd jokes. Takes away from the content. Let the guest speak.

My favorite episodes are the scandalous corporate hotline confessions. These make me LOL like no other. More please!

I love this podcast even though I’ve never worked anywhere but a school. I’ve learned from this I’m not cut out for sales, marketing, recruiting, or any corporate job but I pretend I am when I listen to this!

I was a big fan of both of you individually on Instagram so when I heard that you had a podcast together and nearly spit out my coffee. I am a huge fan of podcasts, but I’m very selective and have my small selection of favorites which I religiously listen to. You guys quickly snuck into my top three and I binge listened to every single episode from the very first one. I wish you guys would put out daily episodes because now I caught up and feel an empty void lol Shout out to Beca for being an awesome BTS biz partner and wife for Ross! Your whole team is great. I truly had no idea what Riz was until this podcast, and now I definitely know I don’t got it 😂 You guys are a national treasure, so Nic Cage better protect you at all costs.

Ross and Natalie are very funny and together they are great. I REALLY loved the episode with Ross and his girlfriend very openly discussing finances and their relationship. It was a breath of fresh air about how relationships should be in this day and age. A+

Ross and Natalie crack me up! I was fans of both previously, so I was stoked when they started a podcast together. They have great banter and I love hearing about their experiences and advice through a comedy lens. In fact, I’m in it for the comedy more than the corporate advice. It’s perfect for my commute. The podcast is perfect, don’t change a thing!!!

Ima give you 5 stars. But the Hunter interview was off brand. He seems like a cool guy but… too woo woo and deep. I turned that one off. I come here to laugh.

I’m well out of the age range this is intended for, but this middle-aged man enjoys the banter. It’s part of my weekly routine at the office. I even learn a few ways to connect with the younger kids in the office every now and then. Keep it up! Jim

I listen to you guys all the time, but mainly when I’m traveling (to meet my SAAS clients), and I don’t care that people stare at me when I laugh out loud on the plane at whatever it is you’re discussing. Thanks for keeping the topics relevant while sprinkling in the laughs; I love listening to you guys.

I’m not really a podcast girly, but Demoted is the exception. Even my husband, who only listens to, like, 2 podcasts, loves this one. It’s my go-to while commuting or working out (can’t listen to it in the office due to the sudden outbursts of hysterical laughing). If you haven’t listened yet, you should start.

As a late twenties girly living in nyc in the woes of profesional life this is the podcast I NEED. I walk around laughing out loud and can’t stop sending clips to my friends. Sometimes it feels like therapy. This podcast is a must listen if you’ve ever had a job you hate. It’s also a must listen if you care about your career and are looking for relevant advice in a format that won’t make you fall asleep.

I’m hitting the 4 year mark of the post-grad grind and I am looking to their advice and takes on what to do next, how to do it well, and how to set myself apart. This is the podcast I didn’t know I needed in my healthtech corporate life. Natalie and Ross blend humor and insightful discussions perfectly, making niche corporate topics hilarious and engaging. Each episode leaves me with valuable takeaways that I can directly apply at work. Thanks for making me laugh while teaching me new things that truly enhance my professional growth. Entirely pointless podcast. No clue how they go on with their day knowing that they produce this "content". All they do is yap. And yap about themselves. Most of the subjects are random which means they think they have wisdom on all these subjects. It's just screaming "I love hearing myself talk". They even have an episode about how to craft a good wedding speech and natalie starts off by basically saying she's never done a wedding speech 💀 They have this weird style of speaking where they are just joking the entire time. So I can't take them seriously and I don't know what is supposed to have actual substance. I think it's a nervous tic they both have. You guys have known each other for years but are still awkward around each other? And the best part is they are NOT FUNNY. A podcast must and can only be entertaining or education. With this podcast, it does not make me laugh and I get no value out of it. No clue how people are giving 5 star ratings and adoring it. We did not ask for this. Just cancel it and do something of substance.

I have not missed an episode, this podcast is so entertaining. Seriously , I listen to 5+ podcasts and this is the only review I have ever left. Natalie and Ross meld together humor, personal anecdotes & the corporate grind seamlessly. The only suggestion I would have would be for this to be longer and to hear more about their daily lives/stories.

My favorite podcast to listen to! I love Natalie and find her so relatable as a fellow class of 2019 corporate girlie who also played collegiate club volleyball - go Bruins! Ross has also significantly grown on me and I’ve grown to love his content too (and he’s actually really knowledgeable and gives great advice for navigating your career). Ross and Natalie bring a refreshing take to the corporate work from home culture and I enjoy listening to their banter literally anywhere I am. Thanks Demoted Podcast for brightening our lives!

Before I start my day working in SaaS, like seemingly everyone else, I listen to the show for a few laughs and the sense of solidarity that work (and “management”) is complete joke. Thanks for keeping on, keeping on, as a remote worker you two are my favorite coworkers.

Long time listener, first time reviewer. Love the Demoted Podcast. Sitting parked at Target laughing out loud to Corp’s prostate exam story while the employee knocks on my window to drop off my order. Oh no sir, don’t mind the lube jokes. I’m not in sales or anything but even I can see comparisons to my job in the Coast Guard. And I like to think y’all are preparing me for when I retire and have to join the real world. Here for the laughs but for sure staying for the therapy and medical advice.

This is a great easy listen, “worth nothing” pod that somehow still provides great corporate insight and advice. I don’t know how Ross and Natalie do it- probably magic. I cackle out loud at least once an episode. Overall, interesting post.

As a 30 something year old tech sales VP it is literally impossible to find relatable corporate podcasts that are also funny. I started following both Ross and Natalie both during the pandemic and have been hooked ever since (shout out to Sales are Dope - 10/10). When Ross and Natalie finally combined forces I knew it was going to be great. While the banter on the pod hooked me, it’s the authentic corporate candor that has kept me coming back to every episode. I loved the honesty of the work/life balance episode, but am also here for the ridiculous SKO stories so please keep em coming. Despite being married with 3 kids now, these stories take me back to my early sales days and are so relatable and hilarious. Maybe someday when I work up the courage, I’ll write in to dear demoted. Great job, Ross and Natalie!
