Democracy on Your Doorstep is a podcast exploring the relationship between Scottish local councils and the communities they represent. Each episode focuses on one of Scotland’s 32 authorities as a means of examining the role of local government in people’s lives. We travel to the council and interview residents, journalists, campaigners, academics and elected representatives - their voices tell their story.

Episode two concentrates on the national issue of housing through a look at South Lanarkshire and an estate that was split in two - one becoming a co-operative the other remaining with the council.
