As an aspiring shepherdess, these podcasts have been helpful as I consider what breed I want to start with. I’ve learned a lot about different breeds and about general sheep care. It’s great to hear from so many different people and to learn from them.

Lots of good conversation about sheep. It’s very informative to hear from all these shepherds and learn about how they raise their animals in different situations.

This is SUCH a good podcast. Not only is there great information on heritage breeds, but there’s plenty of just common-sense shepherding. This podcast fills a much needed void in farming podcasts, focusing on endangered breeds, the needs shepherds have ( such as more/local wool mills) focusing on farmers who have such joy in their animal husbandry, and just having good conversations. Give it a listen!!!
