Tired, run-down and far too busy, I ask a question that doesn’t come naturally to me: what if this were fun? I look at seriousness as identity, the old habit of wearing busyness as a badge of honour, and the friends who have taught me to choose silliness and joy. An experiment in bringing more lightness to creative work without losing the depth that matters to me.
