Funny and pathetic
You guys crack up over little things that are not portrait realistically in a show about time traveling .. That’s too funny.
However, also quite annoying and extremely dismissive. I have listened to the latest podcasts of yours and yeah, it was too much negativity coming across.
Thanks anyway. And good luck for future projects.

More Chaos, Less Ego
I’ve listened to Deck the Hallmark for years, and what originally made the show great was how unserious it was. It felt like a bunch of funny guys hanging out, making dumb jokes, talking movies, and fully embracing the absurdity of the whole thing. That self-awareness is what made it so entertaining.
Lately though, specifically Marvel Mondays, feels like it’s trying way too hard to become a serious movie-analysis podcast, and it’s lost a lot of the fun because of it.
Dan used to be the lovable grouch of the group. His constant shots at Bran felt playful because everybody seemed in on the joke. But somewhere along the way, the dynamic shifted from funny teasing to Dan becoming a full-blown know-it-all who dominates almost every conversation. At times it genuinely feels like he believes nobody else could possibly understand a movie on the same intellectual level he does, which is especially funny considering this is a podcast that built its audience reviewing Hallmark movies. The accidental comedy there is incredible.
At this point, one of the funniest parts of the show is hearing Ryan passive-aggressively refuse to just roll over for Dan the way Bran often does. You can almost hear Ryan getting tired of the constant lecturing and steamrolling, and honestly those subtle little moments of resistance have become more entertaining than some of the actual movie discussions.
I miss when the show leaned fully into the chaos and stupidity. The Crystal Dance. Trace. Rigg. The stories about Brett Debbie growing up in a house made entirely of Little Debbies. That random nonsense was the heart of the podcast because it felt natural instead of forced.
The show was always better when it felt like a group of personalities bouncing off each other instead of one person trying to turn every Marvel movie into a graduate film thesis.

Perfect Blend of Personalities
My favorite podcast. A perfect blend of different personalities and passion that creates a very funny, fun, positive listening experience. Something good to look forward to, which is increasingly needed in this world. The “negativity” is all in jest and is quite humorous, and not actually negative at all. I also like the doses of reality and PSAs at times about how to be a good person.

Had to Stop
This was one of my favorite podcast because of the laughs and giggles. But the negative comments from one of the podcasters has gone overboard for me. I feel he forgets he is a Hallmark reviewer and not a reviewer for PBS. His attitude has grown over the past few years. The show can still be fun and creative but the negativity was a downer for me.
Longtime Hallmark Watcher
The best podcast.
I just typed a very very long review & I’m not sure if it posted or not, but on the off chance it didn’t, I’m going to keep it shorter this time around, lol. Basically I love hallmark movies. They are totally my safe space & my ultimate escape from the heaviness of this crazy world. I love that they are cheesy. They make me warm and fuzzy inside. Brandon understands lol. I also love that Dan can laugh at a lot of these & point out the insanely bad parts of the movie we all try to just look past. Bran is all about the warm fuzzy feels & Brian is kind of the middle man who keeps the balance & I think I’d trust him with my life. Alonso, Ryan, Jacks, Patrick, love you guys as well. Everyone on this podcast is like a big family I’m vicariously a part of & I’m so thankful when I wondered if there was a group of people who discussed hallmark movies on a podcast, I found this one. I’m writing this review bc yall deserve all the praise and recognition. And just to let you guys know that I think you are the coolest guys around. I can’t wait for the DTH Christmas countdown this year. Sending the kids to the grandparents & hanging out with yall as long as I can to kick off the season. I just discovered this podcast around the last Christmas season so I’m going back & listening to old episodes & I’m even tuning into everything new. Even when calls the heart although I’ve never watched & probably never will lol. Gilmore the merrier is an incredible addition as well (I’m so sorry but I’m having trouble remembering the guys name who also covered the Gilmore episodes, thanks for being apart of this!) & I love that it’s one of Bran’s fav shows. Keep doing the dang thing guys. Love hanging out with ya! I’d listen to you guys rank your favorite bottled water brands.

Totally loving Gilmore, the merrier!
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for adding Gilmore the merrier to your podcast! I’ve been a big fan of the Christmas movie reviews for years. I’m a huge Gilmore girls fan and I’ve watched the entire series through at least five times. Each Gilmore the merrier episode is so entertaining and makes my drives in the car and walks outside just fly by.

Such a good time.
This podcast has been such a light and fun listen in the midst of some really hard days. The episodes are delightful to listen to while I am doing dishes or folding laundry and even though I barely watch Hallmark, I rarely miss an episode!

Gilmore the Merrier
First I’d like to say, I’ve NEVER rated a podcast before but I am genuinely worried you won’t continue this show if you don’t get enough reviews, so here I am. One of my first podcast binges many years ago was Gilmore Guys. When that ended, I was looking for something similar and had just gotten into Hallmark movies as an adult (I’m jewish), and found Deck the Hallmark. I’m a regular listener to DTH during the holiday season, and was SO excited when you started doing Gilmore the Merrier! It’s truly a full circle moment for how I found y’all in the first place. I have not missed an episode and I get excited for them each week. Please keep doing it! Bonus- I also live in Greenville! Hope to see you around town!

A fun podcast!
Love this podcast and so happy I found it this holiday season! I do not watch 90% of the shows/movies but it’s not necessary to enjoy the pod!
I love the rotating group of guests to shake things up as well. Thanks for the laughs!

Gilmore the Merrier
I’ve been watching Hallmark Christmas movies with you guys since 2019! You always make me laugh out loud.
I, too, decided to watch Gilmore Girls for the first time this year before I learned you were!!! Again, these episodes always make me laugh out loud! One suggestion- can you do two episodes (4 GG) a week? This is going to take forever!!! I just listened to your cover of episodes 8&9. Personally, I’m on episode 16 and am going slower than I want! I, too, am loving Stars Hollow.
Dan, you have made it perfectly clear you hate Emily and Richard. Please!!! Stop wasting 15 minutes every episode ranting about them! We get it! We are only five DTH episodes in- I will not be able to handle 80+ episodes of you saying the same thing over and over again. It’s getting tedious. As you would say, just stop! This is why I can’t give you guys five stars!

DTH Presents Marxism: A Selective Acvitist Communist Podcast
Deck the Hallmark used to be one of the only few podcasts I’d listen to. However, over the last several years, they’ve become selectively mouthy on various political and moral issues, especially at the expense of people who have differing opinions. The recent “ICE out” stance was the last straw. To not only vindicate for it but to fight for it is a wild and dangerous take. Marxism is the new mark of DTH, and we do not stand by it.

Love the show. Heartmates
First, I love this show. It brings me great joy during the holiday season. Well I agree with the review of the movie The More tje Merrier (wish Emergency Rooms were that empty). I thought it should be mentioned that the program Heartmates should have gotten a shout out during the review, it really is an important program. If I missed it apologies. Keep it up! Classic Kringle are the best imho. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

Seven Stars!
I wish I could give these guys seven stars to make up for that coward’s lousy 3-star rating!! Seriously, DTH has helped me keep my sanity over the past few years when the world has been going crazy all around me. Thank you so much, Bran, Dan and Friends!

You don’t need to be a Hallmark fan
You don’t need to be a Hallmark fan to enjoy this. I rarely watch Hallmark movies, but I always listen to this podcast. It’s a light, funny, cozy listen with great guests!

I love this podcast so much. I am a huge fan of Hallmark Christmas movies and listening to this feels like I’m chatting with kindred spirits. The hosts are hilarious and I truly love hearing each and every opinion they have.

10% of the movies/100% of the pods
This is my favorite podcasts. The entire cast cracks me up and brings joy. You don’t have to watch or even appreciate Hallmark to love this pod.
Beloved Bruins are Beloved
Hallmark for the rest of us
For all those who would 100% NOT watch Hallmark 10 months of the year but want an *amazing* excuse to binge Hallmark Christmas movies during the magical season… this show is everything.

But wait….
I love this podcast, you guys are a hoot!! But wait…I have heard you say on more than one episode that there are no more Hallmark Mysteries? I think once I heard you refer to there no longer being a Hallmark Mystery Channel? I live here in Austin, Texas and I get the Hallmark Channel, alot of Rom-Coms, the Hallmark Mystery Chanel, and the Hallmark Family channel. I also have Hallmark+. Are you referring to not have any new mystery series? Or the channel itself? Because the channel is still there fired up on a rerun cylinders. Thanks for the reviews and laughs guys!!

Long Time Listener, First Time Reviewer
This podcast brings me so much joy! I just went back to hear their 2022 “Rip in Time” review and kept bursting out laughing like a crazy person. They have great interviews - like DOUG freakin JONES - and I would never watch a Hallmark movie without listening to a DTH episode afterward.

Such a Great podcast! 🫶
Love this podcast! Love the preview shows - Sorry Dan. The review for A Civil Christmas is just top notch. My 11 year old son and I watched the “movie” because you all were reviewing it and your episode did not disappoint! (Unlike the movie - why, just why were there so many songs!!) Thanks for all the laughs!

The Bits Are The Best Part
I’ve been listening to DTH for almost 3 years and it’s my go-to podcast (along with other Bramble Jam Network shows). I love laughing along with the actual reviews but more than anything I love the bits. All of the hosts are hilarious and mesh well, and they even pull different sides out of their guests for interviews. To make it all even better - they’ve created a wonderful community within the double deckers!

This Podcast Owns My Commute
I absolutely love Hallmark Christmas movies. I stumbled upon this podcast a couple of year ago and now I listen to every episode. I look forward to the marathon every year. It is my comfort podcast and it’s like listening to friends.

Death, taxes, and preview shows
If there anything I know I can count on in life, it’s definitely DTH preview shows. I was worried that Hallmark’s commitment to release as few movies as possible this month might mean I don’t get to hear how many apple cider donuts I’m supposed to consume while viewing the movies, but thank god the guys came in clutch with their sweet preview. My dream is to one day start a podcast where I preview your preview show, just to make sure the world is properly prepared for the magic that unfolds. Five donuts and a cream to y’all. No notes.

R.I.P. Panda Obviously
The definition of a "Good hang" podcast. This show has been my bedrock since it started in 2018. It got me through the pandemic. It's gotten me through a lot of life since. Each ep is a joy - constant laughs, great (and terrible) bits, fun takes. You don't need to have ever watched a Hallmark Movie (I've only seen one) to LOVE hanging with these guys every day. And their story as an upstart podcasting network is inspiring. Go enjoy their Hodge-podge beluga of a show!

Holiday Touchdown: Let’s Go Buffalo
If you do not have a Buffalo Bills fan join you for the review of this movie. I will start a riot. Also Bran should try a table jump or you can do a flaming shot out of a bowling ball. If you don’t know what I’m talking about…that’s why you need a mafia member.
That’s all.
5 stars.

Thank You
I love listening to this podcast. I love their banter and how they interact. Also, to hear this from a guy’s viewpoint makes it even better. After listening to their reviews of these movies I often find myself rewatching to see the different things they talk about!!! Keep it up!

Okay.
I watch lifetime not hallmark but lifetime uncorked introduced me and since Patrick doesn’t podcast anymore I started listening to this. It’s okay, I listen to a lot of true crime so this is light and fun while I work, but Dan is insufferable. He’s a know it all and he tries to bully people into having his same options and views, he’s so negative and angry all the time, like you watch tv movies for a living your life isn’t that hard bro. He also devoted his whole to being a missionary of some sort and now is like an atheist that makes fun of anyone with faith and morales…The weird voices and characters are annoying and not funny, I can see why these guys are each other’s only friends.

The reason I watch Hallmark
I have listened to these guys from the beginning and now they are the main reason I continue to watch a Hallmark movie even when it’s ridiculous. Even the “dumpster fires” feel like less of a waste of time when I know a fun review is coming. It’s like watching with my snarky friends.

You’ve got a friend in DTH
Even though I’ve been listening for the past few years now I just realized I never wrote a review. Here to fix that!
Just to respond to some of the haters, to the person who thinks this podcast is stressful. You know what is stressful right now? The state of the world. You know what helps me survive that and my anxiety? This podcast!
I love that this podcast is a bunch of friends who come together and just have fun. I also love that the interviews are different and you get to see different sides of people.
I now find myself watching every Hallmark movie (thank you I guess DTH LOL) because I want to understand all the jokes and commentary. I love the Double Decker community. they are hilarious and so supportive.
This podcast has become more than just something I listen to. It’s become a group of friends that I get to see a few times a year now and we unite around silly Hallmark movies. When life gets too hard sometimes we know we have each other. We can turn to hallmark to get lost in a sweet story and turn to DTH to find laughs even on days when laughing seems hard. Thank you to Bran, Dan and the rest of the crew for continuing to show up and create this space.

Robert Buckley interview
What was that? So awkward. Buckey was uncomfortable - he may have “gotten the bit” from your perspective as you proclaimed at the end but he didn't like it. Your interviews used to be spot on but this was a swing and a miss. Youre not comedians. The bits are not funny. I listen to him on The Drama Queens podcast and he never sounds like he did on your interview. So many other Hallmark podcasts available that don't treat guests like this.

The podcast has changed
I loved the podcast last year. It was a show I would be comfortable letting my children listen to . But this year the innuendos are frequent and uncomfortable. They have nothing to do with Christmas or Hallmark movies. I’m surprised they haven’t lost their sponsors.
MonicaRoseStar
It is good it is funny
If you’ve found this show, then I suggest you give a few different themes a shot (classic Christmas, spin offs with the best featuring hosts, seasonal (is Flag a season?), mystery, and *definitely* a preview episode). After that, if: (A) You don’t like it, then you’ve lost nothing and have certainly not been harmed (they’re so kind and positive - sincerely); or (B) You like it, then you’ll soon love it, and you’ll have more laughter in your life. It’s the rare but not impossible win-win-win.

One of my new favorite binges!
I found this show because of the WCTH episodes following the newest season. Then I started listening to episodes about some of my favorite Hallmark mysteries and such. I’ve pretty much been listening nonstop for the last few days. I don’t always agree with all of their points, but I legitimately laugh out loud at least once per episode. And I find myself CRACKING up at the points I agree with. For example, the question of how Ryan Paevey’s character might get a Social Security number in A Timeless Christmas. I literally pose these kinds of questions to my mom (fellow cheesy movie lover), and she hates it! lol My daughter (8) also cracked up with me when Dan called Sally from Aurora Teagarden a “dummy dumb dumb-dumb” in the newest Aurora movie…because as super fans of the series, WE WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREED! During the episode about Home Alone 3, I appreciate that they acknowledged that this film is the only premise that actually makes sense of the series (kid sick at home because mom has to go to work so she won’t get fired). I cannot stand the first two Home Alone movies because the parents are absolutely reprehensible. I just can’t get over it, so I appreciate that they recognized this about the 3rd, even if they hated the film haha. Anyways, the synopsis music would’ve for sure run out if you were to read this aloud…all-in-all, five stars — I’m a new fan! I’d love to see some of the newer GAC movies covered.

Diss List Of Christmas Songs - a fantastic Listen
Bran, Scott and Dan , the Christmas Songs Diss List you did was so much fun to listen to , enjoyed the banter between you guys. It was also nice to hear snippets of some great Christmas songs and I liked hearing each of your views on the songs selected by Scott and why Bran and Scott replaced some songs on Scott’s list. I also started following Tinsel Tunes and Pod The Parade podcasts that were mentioned .

The Podcast I didn’t know I needed in my life
I have never watched a Hallmark movie (came here via Lifetime Uncorked) but I listen to this podcast every day. These guys have the energy of my favorite Sportscenter shows but it’s all directed to romance. It’s like peanut butter and bananas; it shouldn’t work but it’s incredible!
PS: I love the bits! Keep em coming!
