Thank You Renee & Ed!
I love listening to your show so much, thank you for sharing so much wisdom and teaching essential life-skills for both adults and kids. You are an amazing team, I love both the humor and humbleness. It is so fun to listen to you and the educational and research based aspect makes it an incredible combination and learning experience that sticks. I think any human will greatly benefit from it and the world is a better place because of you two as you help create the positive changes in our minds and brains. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!

Simple and profound
I first found this podcast hoping it would help me parent my child who struggles with anxiety. Listening to it I realized I have struggled my whole life with anxiety and never knew what to call it. It's helped me understand myself and how to manage my anxiety, and when I am in a better mental state I am a better parent, wife, and human being. Ed and Renee are both so easy to listen to, and I just love this podcast ❤️

Live these two
These 2 hosts are so easy to listen to and I’m in my 50’s and wish they had been around a long time ago as I have not developed the skills they talk about to get me through social situations! I’m going to share this with my teenage kids and hope they listen as they struggle with social situations too.

I’m in my 20s with Anxiety
This helps me and I was dealing with a lot of traumatic events and I don’t have a therapist because I was kicked out of the mental health office I went to go for mental health and I see how people are really evil. I don’t trust many people again and I was just getting over my anxiety.

Empowers parents
What a fantastic podcast! So glad I stumbled on to it. Material presented in an interesting and humorous way that really empowers parents to help their families develop healthy mental habits! I think everyone has something to gain from these.

Practical and helpful pod!!
This podcast is great because they give you practical and helpful tips and tactics to use right away. At first it seemed geared toward younger children which doesn’t fit me, but it was still so helpful, I kept listening and now they are incorporating more tips for teens so I would say it’s a great fit for all families. Just wish this was around when my kids were younger 🙏💚👏!

For all demographics
I love your podcasts. They are very helpful and funny. I like how you keep it light and interactive. The subject of anxiety doesn't have to be a daunting subject and i love the humor in it. Listening to them multiple times has really helped me to regurgitate the role playing more naturally and allows me to voice things more pleasantly lol. Thank you for your awesome words of wisdom. Truly appreciated.

Thank you so much!
I’ve dealt with horrible anxiety since I was child. It got a lot worse as I got older as it can do. I struggle with obsessive thoughts and deal with a phobia as well. These podcasts are so helpful and I’m so grateful to have these to listen to as I parent my daughter. She’ll only be 2 in a few weeks 😄, but I want to be equipped should she struggle with the various things I deal with. Thank you again!

Such a great resource
I came across the podcast recently and I have been devouring the episodes. It has been such a huge help. I was diagnosed with cancer and have went through a rough couple of years. I never realized how poorly prepared we were in the emotional department. This podcast has been an education and a conversation starter for us. I can see how the things we are learning now will help them for the rest of their lives... and mine. I love the topics and the personalities. It is serious info delivered in a sincere and humorous way.

Favorite podcast
I have been listening to this podcast from the first airing of it. I really love what Ed and Renee have to offer to the listeners. There hasn’t been an episode that I didn’t take something away from, whether for me or my children. I find so much good advice in the episodes for me to be a better parent. I’ve started to re-listen to them to glean even more from the information provided. Ed and Renee and genuine and present everything in a very non-judgmental, personable and fun way. Thank you for helping me to be the best version of me for me, my family and the world. ✌🏼♥️😊

Not just for kids
I started listening to Dear Anxiety to help my kids who were showing signs of anxiety but the skills I’ve learned I’ve actually been using them on my husband who has developed anxiety and depression the last three years. It’s been so helpful and I’ve learned so much.

LOVE!!!
I absolutely love this podcast and look forward to listening every week. I'm a school psychologist in a special needs school and the tips and strategies have been so helpful, not only for my students, but for myself as well! Lots of great research, resources and role plays to show you how you can utilize the skills in real life. I think having real children share their experiences in the beginning and end of each episode is a wonderful addition. I recommend this to my fellow educators, parents and friends!

Meh.. I don’t want kids!
This is suited for parents, good scientific info but I tried listening and they kept mentioning strategies for kids and they sound like boring parents which was making me sleepy. Didn’t work for me, yawn

Best podcast I’ve found on kids and anxiety
This podcast is amazing! I love Rene and Ed and their banter. The role plays of the tools they discuss are especially useful. This is the first podcast I’ve found where they talk about scientific research and give practice tips. I’ve used many of these with my anxious 8 year old and have adopted many of these strategies myself. Go Zen is also awesome and has so many great resources for parents!

Best part of my week!
Thank you so much for creating this podcast. It is so informative and easy to relate to. There are so many layers to anxiety and my thoughts and feelings about it. It’s a really hard topic for me to talk about, so I avoid doing it. But this podcast allows me to dig deep into the issue with the hosts of the show as if they’re my friends in my home talking me through it. I’m so grateful to have found this show.

As a school counselor I could put student faces to the words in the beginning of episode 1. This was spot on! I have a daughter who has overcome anxiety with diet, exercise and positive thinking. Thank you! I will be recommending this to my staff and parents!
