Dealing with Death

Grief plagues the lives of billions of people around the world. You may have heard about the five stages of grief that are meant to help us live with loss, but I don't believe this process is so linear, and each situation regarding death requires a unique, dynamic approach. My father died when I was nine years old and I had difficulty finding someone to talk or relate to. Resources were limited and I struggled with the aftermath of his passing for a long time. I hope that someone listening can take something with them and apply it to their situation to better their relationship with grief.
