Very entertaining. I believe most of the stories are actual true events. My only complaint is that I need more episodes and longer one’s too. I can’t get enough!

By far one of the most entertaining podcasts I’ve listened to in some time! If you like paranormal stories then you came to the right podcast! David is a masterful storyteller!

I tried enjoying this podcast, i really did. I understand the need for commercials (within reason). Nope not this podcast cutting of the host off MIDSENTENCE through a story. Wth? Then its not one or two commercials in between. It just kept going and going. If you listen back to back its 6-10 commercials then 3 minutes of story. No thanks. I ended up turning it off when my patience wore thin and i started getting a headache and i wish i was joking…

the episodes are getting shorter and shorter. one minute and 52 seconds like what? I think that I might stop listening if these episodes don’t get longer 🫤

I discovered this podcast recently and have enjoyed listening. I appreciate that the host doesn’t talk on and on before and after the stories. This would have been a 5-star review, but as I’ve gotten to the more recent episodes, they’ve all be 3 or 4 minutes long, with at least 2 of those minutes being ads. It’s not really worth it to listen to these short episodes if you like to listen while doing something else because you constantly have to stop and skip through ads. I’m hoping they’ll go back to the older style of 2 or 3 stories per episode.

Why are they so short? It would be nice to have a few back to back. Otherwise a great storytelling podcast.

I enjoy this show covering and sharing lesser-known true stories. The world is a strange place. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoy your podcast. It’s one of the better narrated ones. I did notice, though, that your upload of episode 103 is definitely not a final product as it features all your mistakes and has you stating, “I need a break.” Not sure how that happened, but wanted you to be aware.

Love listening to this when I crave a scary story

This is the only mystery/ghost story podcast that has everything I’m looking for. The reader gets straight into the story and there is no host commentary or banter (I don’t love when hosts give their opinions and theories because it often takes me out of the scary moment.) The voices of the readers, particularly the main reader, are great! The mysteries are captivating from beginning to end and they don’t turn into long detailed history lessons, which again, for me, takes me out of the moment. There is also such a variety of stories! I’ve already binged every episode and I’m so sad because I haven’t found anything that comes close to it, so please continue making more!

Straight forward scary stories

One of my favorite new podcasts in my rotation. The narrating draws you in immediately and the stories are delightfully spooky. Highly recommend.

I came across this fascinating podcast through the Ghost tales by the Fireside podcast, it was a recommendation from them and I’m so pleased to have come across it. It doesn’t have the over the top and irritating background scary fake music, it doesn’t need it, because the stories on this podcast are sent in from members of the public who had the strangest and sometimes most terrifying experiences with spirits and need to tell someone, just so they know they aren’t alone or going mad. It’s fascinating to listen to, I wanted to binge listen to episodes and some stories will linger with you for a longtime afterwards. Definitely recommend this if you want to listen to a show that can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!

I love the true stories on here. It’s neat to hear other people’s experiences and I love the way she tells the stories too.

I absolutely love this show! It’s so great to have a spooky podcast that just jumps right into the story, which really allows the listeners to be enveloped into each story. Anna does such a great job - with quality sound/recording, voice acting, even her podcast recommendations are great! (I’ve never come across another podcast that has recommendations for other podcasts instead of just ads!) Each episode of the podcast takes me back to gathering around at recess in elementary school and swapping scary stories instead of playing like everyone else. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone who loves real scary stories!

I love how she curates the stories for each episode. And gets right to them without much nonsense… I can’t find her name, but I love her voice as well… thanks for this great li’l spooky podcast! Well done!

Love this podcast so much! Been listening to it all throughout cleaning my house- my only complaint is the host voice that is a cheap Sex in the City Samantha knock-off and I can’t think of anything else when she talks 😂

Just discovered today and listening to non stop! Stories are so good & chilling.

Looking for a show similar to radio rental and spooked. I like the call ins. I loathe the voice the host does. It would be so much better if she just talked like a regular person instead of a cheap independent film characters idea of creepy.

I can’t believe I am saying this but these cal in stories need to be stopped or at least censored. These stories are hard to follow, and poorly done. I love the episodes where people are reading, but these call ins are not good.

I listen to many ghost story podcasts. This is just what I like: real stories, very well read stories, one after another without obnoxious ads and sponsors. Yes I know you need sponsors but the content is usually annoying. This podcast is well produced and just what I love with well chosen stories.

I’ve been searching for a decent paranormal podcast for months. I’m tired of listening to banter/chit chat, corny delivery, etc. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes! This one has delivery, execution and storylines. I would love to hear them do an occasional “well known” paranormal stories.
