The legendary country music star sadly died today at the age of 80. She will be remembered for her contributions to both the world of entertainment through her songs, films and tv shows as well as for her contributions to humanity.

It may very well be impossible to count on just one hand the number of people as universally beloved in the history of this country as the legend herself Dolly Parton. And so, it's with great anguish that we'll share with you Dolly Parton died today at the age of 80.
