Thank You!
Dan, I am so glad to have had the chance to hear you reflect on life. You center your stories on the wonders of hydronic heating systems, but they are actually all based on the warmth of your heart. I will miss you, my friend I never met. Fare thee well, wherever your path leads. Ken

Dead men tales
Dan is as good in pod cast as he is in person. What a great story teller. Keep up the good work. Dan is the modern day boiler god of history.

One of a kind podcast
As a contractor from Detroit, currently in Chicago, hydronic heating has been a part of my life since I entered the trade 25 years ago.
This podcast is like no other and each episode contains little tidbits that continue to push excellence in the trade. Keep em’ coming!

I look forward to it every week.
I’m in my UA Local’s Pipefitter’s service (HVAC) apprenticeship in Detroit. I look forward to this podcast every week. It provides context and meaning to my career choice. It’s like a glass of whiskey or a cup of tea. Comforting. Thank you Mr. Holohan.

As always...
I will go out of my way to hear Dan’s histories or adventures from a life well lived. Family, work and industry combined with constant attention to helping people get things done properly or preparing them for that next dark basement. Always educational and/or entertaining. Thanks, Dan.

I wish I still had steam heat
I used to live in a 1920’s house in Indianapolis with 2-pipe steam heat. I battled water hammer the first winter I lived there. I found Dan’s works and read up on how steam heat was supposed to work. I hired some help and did a lot myself. We removed the sags in pipes caused by 80 years of settling, replaced trap innards that were stuck, and more. It was a battle that I loved. I now live in northern CA and haven’t had radiators in years. I miss them. But I found Dan’s podcast and love to listen to the stories. Maybe I’ll have radiators again someday. But then I hope to stay in a warmer climate…
